Fantasy Football

With a new football season about to begin, I was wondering if the members of SR had a fantasy football league for SR users. If not, would there be any interest in getting one started? Of course no money involved, just for fun and bragging rights.

I'm already loaded to four teams on Yahoo, and I think they cap you there... of course, how hard is it to get a new Yahoo ID?

I'd be interested, but only if we could pull together at least 10, preferably 12 teams.

I think CBS sports is a good host site. My DW might want to join. Should we do a POOL or a Fantasy?

I would love to do it! I'm not sure we're going to be able to dig up enough people to have a FFL in real life again this year, so I'll take whatever I can get.

My husband would do it, too.

I'd be down! Although, I have to warn you that I've been liable to draft a lot of 9ers because they're my team. Lately this obviously hasn't worked out for me, but you guys should be set

I'm a huge Niner fan, and because of that I tend to shy away from them on Draft Day (like my A's in baseball)

Of course, getting Frank Gore in the fifth round last season was awesome, but with his hand issues and Michael Robinson taking the Mike Alstott "All I get are TD handoffs" role, the Gorester is probably not going to be the fantasy stud he was in 2006.

Frank Gore was money for me last season. Awesome "sleeper."

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but it sounds like this is the lineup so far:

1. tseymour
2. spaulo
3. Jacca
4. broncoflyer
5. Jacca's wife
6. SWHorn
7. SWHorn's husband
8. danimal

Really we *technically* could go with those... but 2-4 more would be best.

I'd be willing to be commissioner for this league, and run it on www.fleaflicker.com ... check that site out and let me know if you folks like it... I think it's the best online FFL site I've ever seen (at least, of those that are free)
