Fantasmic is awesome - The Tarzan rocks was always a high energy show that kept the attention of everyone. Of course I also liked the Jungle book show that was reploaced by Tarzan Rocks. I have not seen the Nemo show yet, but I have heard good reviews.

We have never seen Beauty and the Beast but have heard how good it is and I have also heard from some friends that the Nemo show is very good. We are going to try and catch both of them when we go down this fall.

At this point I would have to say our favorites are Voyage of the Little Mermaid and Playhouse Disney Live, for our children's sake :ariel:

Festival of the Lion King and Beauty and the Beast. Not to be missed on any trip.
On a slightly smaller less grand scale, both the Chinese acrobats and Japanese drummers at Epcot shouldn't be missed either (if they count as stage shows).

First time to post, so forgive if I do something wrong.
Does anyone know the name of the song that is performed in the morning when the Magic Kingdom first opens. The characters come by train, and they have a family chosen etc?
Thanks

Welcome to the Message boards kamikaze! With that said, someone else know the name of that music?

Thanks for the welcome. I am so hoping someone knows the name of that music. I have had the song in my head for ages (since May when we actually got to the park in time for the opening ceremony.) I would so love to get my hands on that song. It just puts me in a good mood!

I've never been at the gate at opening. The closest I've been is we were on the boats going to the MK from WL and I heard the music. It really was great and put you in a "Disney" mood to start the day. I'd like to know too, and if its on the playlist.

My favorite stage show is definitely Finding Nemo: The Musical. The songs are killer. Fantasmic! is my all-time favorite, though, but I'm not sure if it fits the category of 'stage show' since it involves fireworks and lasers - it's more of a spectacular like Wishes and Illuminations.

Kamikaze: I believe the song that you are referring to starts out: "Welcome, welcome, welcome...." Then they go into "Good morning, good morning - it's great to stay up late..." I've been able to find mp3s of the music, but I don't know what the songs are actually called. Hope that helps.

We also really like Off Kilter, if you can count that
PudgetteD - Love Off Kilter - They are my absolute favorite in all of Epcot. I purchased the live CD when I was there in May! Love it! :D :D

I think this must be a new one. The chorus ends with "the most magical place on earth is here" and there is a line about "magic wrapped up in pixie dust, welcome to a place where dreams come true" I have a small clip from the video camera. We got there a little late and only caught the last 2 minutes. :(

I haven't seen all of the stage shows, but of the ones I have seen, Festival of the Lion King is definitely my favorite, with Beauty and the Beast a very close second.

I love Off Kilter too, and bought one of their CDs at the Canada pavillion. I'm a sucker for bagpipes.

I love the new Castle Stage Show with the animated character heads. It is so awesome!!! Very realistic. I also like FotLK. Fantasmic is not to be missed and the best at WDW hands down.

FYI...There are rumors speading that FotLK's Timon will get an animated character head.

I haven't seen one yet that I thought was a waste of time. They have all been good. Fantasmic - I never miss seeing it - I go every time. Beauty and the Beast - I saw last by watching my granddaughters (3 and 5) see it for the first time. I could not believe the wonder in their eyes (we had front row seats). We just saw Nemo last week and I think it is now my favorite, after Fantasmic.
