ok, first...addlema, your icon is really starting to freak me out. I understand its the truffle shuffle. I think its funny, but the rate that it plays is really freaky.

second. Kudos to Disney_Fanatic. I love the tinkerbell ride idea. I tell you, I think that Disney does need to increase the number of thrill rides they have. Disney has worked really well as a family entertainment place, but there is very little in the way of thrill rides. I'm not saying that without thrill rides Disney will fail. I'm saying, that evolving with the wants and needs of America makes for a better experience. There is plenty of space all over, and Thrill rides can be built over, under, and through existing structures.

Ok the fastest has to me Rock N' Roll Coaster. It also pulls the most G's. A very good ride. The launch and the loop rocks.

I still think it would be fun to do Star Tours & Space Mountain in 3D! Maybe Soarin as well. I have never been on that one though. But then again the 3D glasses would have to strap onto your head! ha ha ha

That reminds me so much of the movie Scrooged with Bill Murray. The scene with the mice - trying to get the antlers to stay on..

But, I kinda like bostoncg's suggestion of Star Tours in 3D. I'd also kinda like it if the ride did a little more than rock back and forth and side to side. I think it'd be awesome if it did flips like in the movie...

I got the idea from scrooged.

Hopefully they will enhance the ride experience with the new star tours they are supposed to be developing.

OK Test Track is more of a ride than a coaster but I'm sure I have heard something telling me it's "The longest and fastest ride in the parks". Audio pre-Rockin' Rollercoaster perhaps.
Summit Plummet may get you close to the top speed of Rockin and TT though.
I think I would class all of WDW coasters as Kiddie Coasters to a certain extent.
They allow the fearfull novice to work on up from My first coaster - Barnstormer to Ready for anything now - Rockin' Rollercoaster in small easy steps.

hey, I just realized epcot is the only park that doesn't have a coaster.
Actally Test Track is billed as the fastest coaster in all of WDW if you count the high speed loop.

Technically, I don't think they count it as a coaster. Though, they do tout it as the fastest ride in all of WDW resort.

disney_fanatic wrote:luv to see a ride about Tinkerbell in Magic Kigdom where you follow a projection of her or something and you do the loops and twists and turns - hehe could be a Peter Pan Adventure, where you just miss Hook and whizz past the crocodiel :D
This would be such a great idea. I'd love to be Tink and be buzzing around Peter and Hook and such. I could see this ride starting off with a tunnel that you go through slowly so you can get pixie dust sprinkled on you. And then a gate would open that looks something like a lantern or something and you shoot out. The first part of the ride (gotta remember the story) could be a flight from England to Neverland and buzz around Wendy and such. Then a few scenes with Peter and Hook. But then there would have to be a lull when Tink dies. But then after an appropriate amount of clapping (either by the participants in the ride or by a soundtrack -- or better yet, people waiting to ride the ride) you take off again and fly high up into the sky for a last loop or two. That could be a lot of fun!

While I thought Rockin' Rollercoaster was GREAT when I rode it, my personal favorite is still Big Thunder Mountain.

(Even though Cedar Point is calling Maverick the first "terra-coaster," I think Big Thunder has that credit since the ride never goes very "high" since its all wound around the scenery.)

#1 - EE - hands down
2 - Space Mtn
3 - Splash Mtn
4 - Big Thunder Mtn
5 - RnR - I put it last. I love the launch but other than that, the ride is really rough. I am fairly short and my head is like a ping pong ball on the shoulder harnesses.

Haven't heard that one. It's a BAD idea!! That would stink!! Any way, what would the hook line be "ride Hannah??" I don't think so.
