The last week of October was not too bad, it was crowded in Epcot, but that was because of food and wine. All in all, October is a good time to in my opinion. We might be going in May this coming year, so hopefully it won't be too horrifying.

My favorite time to go is the 2nd week of December. Light(er) crowds.... lower prices and the Christmas decorations are up. It's a wonderful time to go. However, it's a bit hard to plan for. This year when we went it was 30+ degrees at night the first part of the week but then it warmed up the rest of the week. If you go during this time, make sure you take a couple of sweaters or jackets as it's almost impossible to predict what the weather will be, and you don't want to HAVE to spend your souvenier money on clothes (unless that's what you want). Layering is the key, especially since it warms up pretty nicely during the day.

The chances of this happening are slim to none, but if you can time your vacation to occur after a hurricane goes through that is some of the best weather I have ever seen. We were there 2005 after Wilma blasted through, the sky was clear and blue, and it was comfortable outside. A very pleasant day. It is just unfortunate that all that damage had to occur. They are still recovering in So. Fl.
