Weddings are expensive
No kidding. My own is up to around 140-ish guests, and not counting honeymoon, the cost is upwards of $23k now... and that's right around average, apparently.

yea these are really pretty dresses, but weddings are soo expensive as it is, then u get a disney wedding gown and that would just make the price go way up lol even tho i would love to have one of those when i get married! although i dont really see much of a difference in these from regular gowns.

I agree with you - I think Kelly was going for contemporary looks. I wish the designs would have more hints of the dresses the princesses actually wore in the films, but maybe she was going for more originality. I think the Cinderella dresses need more "sparkle", but she did a great job on the Ariel, Snow White (really creative), and Belle collections.

It would have been nice if these were around when I got married (10 years ago this August). We had a Cinderella theme!!!

I agree. None of them really looked like the princesses they were inspired by. Actually, the only thing that really reminded me of a particular princess was the model's hair. (Except for Belle...they had a lot of blonde models.) And speaking of the models...I don't know. When I think of Disney Princesses, I think of beautiful, sweet and innocent. Those models looked too sexy, too sultry and too...well...un-princessy...which didn't help with the dresses trying to look like Disney.

Anyone see the picture of Scarlett Johannson (don't know if I spelled that right) as Cinderella for a Disney promo? I guess I had envisioned the wedding dresses to go more in that direction...but a little fancier? Here is a link to the picture.

What do you all think? At least you can tell who inspired the dress.

Yeah, I mean if I wanted just any other wedding gown, these would fit the bill. If I'm going to spend thousands of dollars to get a Disney Princess wedding gown I'd sure want it to look like a Disney Princess wedding gown.
