I recently asked my mother about this and she said the first time we went was in 1985. I was about 8 years old that summer. I was a rather timid kid back then and was somewhat afraid of the dark rides at MK. I don't think I really looked at anything at the HM. I thought Epcot Center was just as good as MK. It was the future part that I enjoyed the most. The Mexico indoor area also confused the heck out of me. I couldn't figure out how day could change into night and vise versa so fast. lol

I was 16 in 1975 and just like disneypinnut it was a band trip. We marched in the bicentinial celebration parade which was pretty cool. I really wish I had taken more pictures from that trip so much has changed. My next trip wasn't until 8 years later.

I was 35 when we first went in 1985 with my wife and daughters 9 and 11. It was our vacation of a lifetime and we had to save for several years to be able to afford it. We all had a ball and I was only 9 years old when I came back!
Now, I have had the pleasure of taking my 2 daugters, sons in law and two granddaughters in 2006. We stayed at the Poly concierge and splurged on the dining plan. I was 56 when we went and 16 when we came back. We're going again in 5 days and my wife of 37 years is wondering how old I'll be when we get back. It seems she thought she was through raising children!

...back in 1976. I remember a great Bicentennial celebration...
My first trip was in 1972 when I was two years old. I was also there on July 4th 1976. I bearely remember anything but I do rememebr it being VERY patriotic! :)

It's amazing how the characters have changed over the years... and the strollers! Mine was a metal rattle-trap with some blue canvas for comfort.

PS: I think this post will get me to B-Ticket which speaking of, I loved the ticket books for nostalgia but they sucked for getting on rides!

I was in the 5th grade and 10 years old and it was 1974. For those of you good at math will now know my age. I can remember it was July or August and hot...but love those dole whips! And boy the crowds! I think we only went for the day maybe two. Stayed off property, boy if my parents new what they do today, then!

Took my dd a year ago in Sept 06 for her first trip, she was 11...and want to go back so bad....

I was 2.5 in 1978. Only the Magic Kingdom was there, and the pictures I have of the characters show they are a lot different looking then they are now. Especially Pooh.

I was 22 and went there by myself. It was great discovering everything at my own pace, but I had to bring a friend the following year to share the experience.

I had been to Disneyland many times (grew up in So. Cal.), but my first trip to Florida was 1986.

i was about 2 on my first visit. i really don't remember anything. i think i was around 4 on our next trip there, though. all i remember from that one is losing a toy baby gonzo i had at luau cove at the polynesian during catholic mass. i loved that gonzo and was in tears!

but, since the cast members (esepcially at the poly) are awesome, we got it back at lost and found soon after i realized he was gone. i was one relieved toddler. ;)

i only remember the polynesian and just being there from that trip.
