I honestly love the film even though it is very outdated. I guess I'm a sucker for anything that is old and is getting replaced. The fact that I love Canada as well makes it all the better.
The songs are great and bring chills to me whenever I hear them live in the theater.
So I arrive August 13th for the College Program, I hope I have time in the week to visit EPCOT at least once to see the movie a few times ( And no I'm not crazy). I just have a hard time letting things go

Na I think lean bars make it better in a 360 seating.
Just like Timekeeper used to say "You can't experience time travel on the floor"
Well yeah with seats, you wouldn't be sitting on the floor but I think experiecing a 360 film, you need to stand so you can turn around easier. When I watch the Canada film, I always turn around to get the whole experience. One time, I watched the whole thing facing the back side haha

But it is so much better being there, in the surround sound, with the film in front of you and the music blasting.
I guess I'm the only one who doesn't want it to change even if Canada looks a lot better than it did in the 1980s when it was filmed. I'm gonna cry when I'm there on the last day that it is there.

If the Canada movie update is on par with the China movie update we have nothing to fear. An evolution rather than a revolution.

While I'm hesistant to embrace a movie upgrade for Canada, film technology has come so far since that was filmed that it should be a good enhancement. I enjoyed the old movie, but realize it was showing its age. If they keep the song, it should make the transition much easier.

Rumor is the film will be updated with Martin Short as the narrator and the redone version of the Lifetime Journey song, sung by Canadian Idol winner Eva Avila.
