This sparks something in me. During out recent January trip to WDW the MGM tram tour was such a joke. The only interesting thing to me was driving through wardrobe. Even the Disaster Canyon (whatever it's called) wasn't as good as I remember. The vehicle props that you drive by were shabby. In my opinion, they need to either start filming there again to make the studio tour more interesting or stop the tour all together and put more attractions in that area.MansionButler wrote:Given wide-sweeping powers, I'd change MGM to the way it was in the late 90s. ... and there was an actual freakin' studio there, it was so much better.
What would you change back?

I agree with you Sub. While in California we went to Universal and did the studios tour. That was very interesting.
When in WDW our first time (Sept 2004), we did the Backlot Tour and were disappointed.
I like the idea of either filming there or canning it for another attraction. We would only go on the tour again if we were desperate.

Looks like you have your wish. I really like Horizions and it sounds like they are going to add some of the features to SSE.

At DL
1. PeopleMover
2. Skyway
3. The one where you are shrunken down to a molecule and at the end there is a HUGE eyeball looking at you.....the name escapes me at the moment......
I like the old DL from back in the 60's! Just upgrade attractions, not replace them.
I am disappointed I didn't get to go to DL in June when I was back in Cali
otherwise I might have a longer list than the one above
1. PeopleMover
2. Skyway

The 3D DVD he made of the attraction isn't that bad either.

Yes, If You Had Wings is correct. You can also request that here. I like listening to that track as well.jiminycricket wrote:I would bring back the original Tiki Room and Horizons. I also miss "If You Had Wings" (is that the right name?)
I remember as a child I enjoyed that ride. I wonder if I would still find it enjoyable as an adult. Really, it was just a bunch of movie screens.
