Truth is, Disney thinks we have 30 second attention spans and we forget where we are if not reminded at every turn. Hence "Disney's" Animal Kingdom.
They're going to work Disney into their attractions when the opportunities arise (most recently The Seas with Nemo and Friends).
With the wand coming down and Epcot, I'm already forgetting who owns that park.

I really think that Disney should tap some of these pharmaceutical companies to back Wonders of Life! They obciously have enough cash to go around with all of the junk that my wife brings home from work. The only problem with it would be making sure that they didnt interrupt your attraction for a Levitra commercial...

How about Disney tapping some of the OIL COMPANIES. They have almost as much money as the insurance companies. Well may be they should get the insurance companies to get involved also.

Good points! They should have the money to host pavillions!

Man - that is so true. You just don't see them building the old rides - 15 min. WoM replaced by 5 min. Test Track etc. Sigh...
And seriously - Epcot has more than enough "corp. function" space right now. Give us an attraction or two in the WoL area already! Yeah, I'm sure the companies love you guys but what about the paying visitor?
Overall very interesting - gracias for the head's up.

I believe they already have tapped some of the the oil companies at WDW. ExxonMobil funds the Universe of Energy pavillion, and there are a couple Hess stations on Disney property, the only gas stations inside the resort grounds.
plus, if we're taling WoL, I don't think an oil company would fit as a corporate sponser. the sponsers of each pavillion are usually themed to that pavillion in some way/shape/form. What do oil companies have to do with the human body?

When I was younger and Epcot had first opened, it was my favorite park! Now if it weren't for Soarin, Test Track and World Showcase, I doubt I'd bother going at all. Soarin' in my favorite so that would never happen...but I think that the closing of WoL would just be another notch on the demise of Epcot. With the loss of Horizons, the former Journey Into Imagination, and the overhaul of Universe of Energy, I think Epcot has become a bit of a disappointment. Don't take away our rides for more corporate stuff!

Since WoL is normally closed, the demo of the other areas may be a blessing in disguise. Perhaps Cranium Command and Body Wars would be open more than three months of the year.

I know they used to, when the park first opened. Are they still the hosts? I didn't think that Exxon was still involved.

^If anything I'd bet Disney is trying to play down the Exxon connection, especially after the big oil spill. It doesn't really look good to have that kind of sponsor.
I'm always intrigued by the rumors that come out. It would be interesting to see how many of them have come to be in the past!
Drop another coin in slot and I will tell you more.

I travel half way across the country every other year to be spoiled by Disney and forget the cares of the world. No one knows customer service like Disney! They always make me feel special - and I am willing to pay what it takes to feel that way! I can travel 3 hours to go to six flags and be treated like a ride-patron. I'll choose feeling like a KING anyday! Keep going, Disney. Don't let the outside world drag you down!

Does anyone have information about the Haunted mansion refurb? What, exactly, is being done? We're headed to WDW in two weeks, and I hate it that my favorite experience is closed, but I'm glad that it is being maintained! It just gives me a good reason to go back again.
