Transformers
I'm really torn about this movie. On the one had I want it to be really good. On the other hand I really wanted them to be G1 transformers. I still am not sure why Michael Bay thought the G1 transformers were too boxy to work in a CGI movie, but I know that the action should be pretty good. I know that they going to put everything they have into the Prime v. Megatron scene also. I was wonder what eveyone else's thoughts are. Do you think it be a good movie? Are you thinking it's going to bomb? Expecting the worst, wishing for the best?

Not a big fan here either. But I love movies, especially the summer movie season. I have a friend whose a huge fan and is so excited about seeing it. I like Michel Bay sometimes. So I agree, I"m not really expecting anything spectacular. I am sure the special effects will be good, but the storyline is about robots, that turn into cars, fighting on Earth.
Also, I am part of the local "Street Team" and they called me to review this movie. I get to see it on Thursday! Several days before it comes out to the public!!

This is the thing that's driving me crazy about the movie. Bay said that the G1 transformers were too boxy to move fluidly in the movie. Well this is a video that 2 guys made at home showing that it could be done and done well.

I'm still going to see it and I'm looking forward to it, I'm just worried about how weird the transformers look.

Transformers were my heroes back then!! I had so many of the action figures.
But still, I'm not too excited about it. Probably because it's been years and years, and I've forgotten the storyline. Or it's more likely that I don't like seeing my childhood favorites being put on the big screen.

I was a big fan of transformers. I own the animated movie DVD and cassette. I also did buy the soundtrack for it and used to watch the G1 series religiously. I'm hoping for a good movie but not getting too excited about it. I don't like the Michael Bay aspect of it. Also, the transformers look like they're inside out when in robot form. What's up with that?
Edited: We're going to go check it out first thing on the 4th.

Good, because I have tickets for 8pm tonight, and I have been worried about being bored through it. My husband is excited, though.Blackie Pueblo wrote:Hey everyone I saw this movie on Thursday to review it for the local paper! I'm not allowed to say much right now, but I will say this...it was AWESOME! And I wasn't expecting much because I'm not a real fan of The Transformers. This movie is a must see.
