The collective brain power here is astounding! I actually hadn't related those two things until it came up.

very good. there's also a system to the rank names (like the Fantasyland Theater Projectionist, Skyway Loader, etc)...

Oh boy, I may need help with this one. I can only think of the promotional job scale via the union agreement. That sounds too complicated.

yes, that would be too complicated. Reading too much into it.

Is it the order in which the attractions were listed on the tickets?

But what about the attractions that existed after the ticket system? Is there really a pattern for the order of the rank names?

Although I respect the conversations in this thread, the language is too technical for me. With all due respect, this is why I created the "Where did "Horseless Carriage Chauffeur" [come] from?" thread in the "General" forums. As requested, I am continuing (actually ending) my conversation here and have locked the original thread. Thanks.

I'm still waiting for site Admin reaction to the idea that the rank names follow the order they're listed on the tickets.

Right? Wrong? Warm? Cold?

we just came up with the names/attractions as they were listed on the tickets. no real formula for the names.

as for the colors, they change as you reach each new level, based on the color of the old tickets.

 I think they've already confirmed everything, try page 3 of this thread

What! Read a whole thread...

js3901... I was sad to see you didn't get to E ticket with the 2600th post. I'm thinking it may not be until 2750 now... we're still waiting for that first one.

yeah, I said it in the very first post on Page 3 of this same thread (so you don't have to read through the entire thread to get to it).

as far as when the ranks change from A ticket to B ticket, B to C, etc... that's the REAL mystery. it's on a sliding scale, with each rank increase becoming harder to get to (more posts needed). I should be getting the E ticket within the few weeks, I think.. I'd have to take a look at the scale again to see if I'm right, but should be soon...

Woooo...I'm a Main Street Horse Car Coachman and an A ticket. Is B the next ticket up and what are the tickets all about anyway?

Actually, hold that though - since hitting 2000 (with the last post) I'm now a Omnibus Driver

Well, it looks like because I am new, I am only an A ticket, guess I will have to change that, as soon as I can. I am not really fire engine driver. :mickey:
