Scheduled Station
Thanks for Thursdays! I love the way the schedule is setup running through the different lands... I'd vote for another day setup the same way.

I find that the Scheduled stream tends to play stuff that's not heard as much on the Request streams. It's nice to take a break from the Requests and listen to tracks there.

Yeah yeah, I know the scheduled stream needs some work
I'll get to it eventually.

I'm a newbie and I'm trying to understand better. I've clicked on the scheduled stream before but it seems to be playing the same thing as the usual stream I click on (the first one which is CD quality). It could be that I'm not clicking on it at the proper time as I must admit to getting the pacific time vs. eastern time screwed up (hey I'm blonde give me a break). Can someone please explain how the different streams (channels) work. Please remember to use small words and talk very slowly --- hahahaha. thanks -- tory

I'll have to try the scheduled stream once I have high-speed set up here (end of the month, yay! at last!). Right now, I don't think the dial-up could handle it without it breaking up.

The scheduled stream has all the same content as the Request stream except it's always random. In addition, during specific times, it will play tracks under a given theme. The schedule can be seen here: http://www.subsonicradio.com/station/schedule.php My personal favorite is Tuesday's Yesterland theme.Torylovesdisney wrote:I've clicked on the scheduled stream before but it seems to be playing the same thing as the usual stream I click on (the first one which is CD quality).
I'm in the slow process of expanding the information about the scheduled stream and adding more schedules including a top 50 requests of the week to be played for a few hours or so.

subsonic, would it be possible to move the scheduled stream to a different IP address where you can use port 8000? I listen mostly at work and I can never pick up the stations that aren't on port 8000

Thursdays Scheduled Stream
I was curious, is the Thursday schedule tracks from DL and WDW? I thought for some reason it was only DL but I noticed today that WDW lands are in there as well. Why did I think it was only DL lands?? Guess I had too much coffee or lack of enough coffee
