I went and saw it with my family and i was the only one who enjoyed it. I loved the tommorrowland references and of course the Walt References. I didn't see it in 3d though so i will need to get back soon

oh yeah most definitely, I mean he might not understand some of the jokes but I think the visuals and amazing enough that it will provide him with sufficient entertainment for the 90 minutes the movie lasts, and of course it has a happy ending!

Horray for this movie and if you havent seen it I just want to say there was a quote at the end that made me almost cry in the theater no joke! Just if you havent seen this movie you probably should. In theaters is good, 3D is sweet! That is all :)

I finally managed to get out and see this movie at the cheap theatre and was really impressed! I loved the 50's futuristic styling of Todayland and all the Disneyland references. It was fun and that end quote was perfect.
Drop another coin in slot and I will tell you more.

I put off watching this movie, not because I didn't want to see it, but I just let it go (that, and I hate paying for the theater unless the movies are BIG). But, now I'm going to have to see it, considering the positive responses in this thread.

Just saw it at the local cheap theatre and man, what a movie! That's what Tomorrowland should be like! Think about it, 20 year ago that was futuristic, 20 years from now it will still be futuristic. Ok, putting the soapbox away again.

Great, laid-back kind of story, lots of subtle comedy, etc. This is what I expect from them in a movie. Not a huge box office hit but to me it has the lasting power which beats a fad hit...

Anyone else notice the Peoplemover cameo? They even included it in their opener on the website... A vision of the future?

I did! That was awesome!! I know I am technically and by all biological reasons probably too young to remember Peoplemover... but I've seen pictures and clips of it enough to know. I thought that was a great omage to the original concept of Walt's Tomorrowland. Personally I wish they'd bring the Peoplemover back just so I could ride it once. Ahhh history... some of the greatest rides in DL taken for the profit of the park... it's a sad sad day I tell you but hey with the success and spirit of MTR hopefully the exec's will get kicked in the back end and see what their doing wrong with Tomorrowland and bring it back to it's "old school" New Age grandure ... if anybody understands what I mean by that lol
