I too was disappointed in the 2nd one. But the trailer for the 3rd looks awesome. I hope it's as good as it looks!

I also heard rumors of more Pirates movies but I heard the same cast hasn't said if they would be involved. I don't know if another Pirates movie could be done with out the Capt. Sparrow, but I also agree you don't want to ruin the character either.

They will now be opening, in MANY cities, on May 24th, at 8:00pm....This is due to the VERY large opening weekend that Spiderman 3 had.....Check your local theatres......

Ohhhhhhhhhhh I can't wait to see it! I just hope that Cptn Jack Sparrow DOES NOT end up with Elizabeth (looks like they may kiss in this one...at least that's what the preview suggests) ... I think that Will Turner should be the one to get her.

Still...... that note aside.. I'll take a Orlando Bloom/Johnny Depp Sandwich to go please....

I'm getting tickets to one of the 8pm showings. These rock for people like me who want to be among the fun, first crowd to see a movie but don't really like being at the theater until 3am.

Did anyone else see the movie, yet? I really liked it. I did not, however, like the ending.

If you do see it, make sure to stay through the credits for a scene at the end.

Don't give away any secrets now, but did you not like the ending because it was sad or because it did or didn't open things up for a fourth film? I've heard the special effects were amazing and by all accounts it was much better than Dead Man's Chest.
Drop another coin in slot and I will tell you more.

The ending definitely left it open for a fourth film. In fact, I would be shocked if they didn't make another one. The ending was not sad...just not how I wanted it to turn out. You'll understand when you see it.

I really liked the movie. It was way better than Dead Man's Chest, IMHO. I plan to see it at least 1-2 more times.

I saw it opening night and liked it.. didn't love it, but liked it.

Felt it was better then the 2nd one, but not as good as the first one.

I've been hearing rumors they are going to do more....

Guess we will have to wait and see.

I saw it this afternoon and at the moment, I have mixed feelings on it. Some parts were really amazing but then others left me thinking "what the heck was that?" I plan to give it another go and see if my opinion changes, but right now it may just be my least favorite of the series.

I just came back from seeing it! Good good film! I have to say it didn't leave me with as many one liners as the first, making that one still my favorite, but this was on par with the first as far as story and excitement, and twists. They did add quite a bit more to reference the ride and connect it to that classic attraction of the same name.

Overall, I highly recommend seeing it ASAP! It's worth it!

Tons better than the second one but not as good as the first. I liked the ending and LOVED the scene after the credits roled. Perfect set up for the 4th.

I'm going to see it right now. I'll post my opinion when I get back...

I forgot to mention that you've got to stay for the scene after the credits. It helps resolve the movie even more. Although I still have some questions about it, but I can't post them or else I'll spoil the ending.

What is the point when we can start discussing the movie, or when are they no longer considered "spoilers?"
