They really need a "featured" eatery in that part of the MK...This would be an outstanding opportunity to really capitalize on the buzz....I look forward to it.

There's always the Crystal Palace and Cinderella's Royal Table. There are a couple of others. Not all the eatery's in the MK are fast food.

I think this is a great idea! A nice sit down restaurant would be great with a pirate theme? What's the chance of having some rowdy actors roaming around since it will be Tortuga?

I like the Pirate y el Perico. I think it's got a great theme to it it. But yes, I've only seen it open seasonally. I hope the new place doesn't wipe this one out!

I think that the new restaurant will be great and provide a new venue to just sit, relax and eat. Its good to sit down and relax now and then when you are constantly going from one attraction to the other.

I love El Pirata y El Perico! It is one of my favorite counter-service restaurants. It was open for the Pirate & Princess Party when we went in February, and that's the first time it's been open for 5+ years for us. I hope they don't close it permanently.

The new restaurant sounds cool, though.

Please, please, please let it be a decent sit down dining establishment. MK is primarily junk food which is cool too but sometimes it would be nice to be able to stay at MK to eat rather than going to Epcot or leaving the parks altogether. Don't get me wrong, I love going to Epcot to eat but more food choices at MK would keep me there longer.

I completely agree, GhostHost. It can be a bit of a pain having to go to Epcot to eat all the time. It would be so awesome to have a great place to go in the MK, other than Liberty Tree.

Another sit down restaurant would be good. I've always liked the Liberty Tree Tavern, where the staff dresses in period costumes. Surely they could do the same along a pirate-themed decor.

I've always like Liberty Tree, Crystal Palace, and Tony's. I use to like Cindy's but this latest incarnation it has just ruined it it.

I think they figured out they can charge pretty much anything they want for people to "Eat at the castle" and they don't have to do anything.

None of the MK sitdowns are "Great Places" to eat. They are all "fun places" to eat. And that is what I want from MK. The GF, CR and to a lesser extent the Poly, all have very good, to great places to eat and due to the monorail aren't that hard to get to.
