Does anyone have footage of GERO? Do you remember him? The robot that hung out in front of Horizons and talked to you? I think his name was GERO...

I don't have footage, and I can't verify the name but I do remember the robot... he was quiet cool for his time.

A primative robot version of Lucky :)

Very primative version of lucky. Much more like the talking / moving planter at AK. Have you seen that? Creepy.

Was he there a couple of years ago? We have a video of my daughter and son having a lengthy conversation with him by the Epcot information center that's right past Spaceship Earth. This was back in 2003 I believe.

My daughter just loves things like this, along with the performers that go around MGM Studios - like the older couple shopping, or the street cop, etc.

Yes he was there a couple of years ago! Thats very cool. I never thought to videotape him because I thought EPCOT wouldn't change.. Whoops..

I never saw a robot outside of Horizons & I've been to WDW 19 times! Goes to show you that you can never see it all, so you have to keep coming back!
