This might sound dumb but i have always wondered since i rode the ride for the first time in 05 who does the narration for Spaceship Earth????

right now, it Jeremy Irons. But, now that Siemens is the sponser, and they're changing the theme slightly, the narration will probably change, and a new actor will probably do the voice over....

I preferred it with Walter Cronkite (who narrated when EPCOT opened until they replaced him with Irons). The Irons track sounds... foreboding and scary, in a way. Too heavy on the "awesome" music, you know?

I've always liked the dramatic way Jeremy Irons narrates a little better than the newsy way Walter Cronkite did (though I never experienced it at Epcot, just here on sub). Hope the new person keeps one of my favorite rides with an excellent narration.
Drop another coin in slot and I will tell you more.
