True Colors - Honey, I Shrunk the Audience

Hi,

I was wondering if it'd be possible to cut the song True Colors out of the pre-show track of Honey,I Shrunk the Audience and make one of its own? I really like that version of the song with all of the different vocalists, but having to listen to the entire pre-show spiel to hear it is a little annoying (not to mention eats additional points

) I'm not asking to screw up the original pre-show track but just add an additional one with just the song?

Anyway, just wondering - thank you again for such a great site!

I'll second that idea. I like that version too, and it would be nice to request it without the whole preshow.

I've always loved that song, even if it does make me think of Kodak. It reminds me of all the pretty pictures in the preshow. I thought those were so beautiful, especially as a kid. Anyhow, I can never seem to find it because it's hooked to that preshow. Thanks for looking into it sub!

I'd be interested!

I forgot that they removed the song + pictures from the preshow and I was disappointed for the second time in a number of years

That was actually one of my favorite parts of the actual attraction! It was sort of inspirational....sort of

Now they have a kid with a lost dog, a kid ruining a wedding picture with his frog, and some bizzarre ASian couple turning into romanticized ancient Chinese - like Crouching Tiger Hidden DRagon. Why must they continue to downgrade the Imagination Pavillion?

Well to be fair...if they just kept it the same it wouldn't be very...imaginative.

They have those pictures as well. It's really not "Disney" and does not fit well.

To their credit, Kodak has helped Disney through thick and thin by being one of the few sponsors who NEVER leave... and the pre-show ticked me off the first few times I saw it (I worked at the pavillion, and it's always been a love of mine) -- but after I saw it for what it was -- a cute commercial with some moving music and imagery, and a predecessor to a great show, I was able to come to terms with it.

I miss True Colors, and I miss a number of other things about that pavillion. Playing in the dancing water has always been one of my favorite activities....

If you cut the song, could you just cut the ending part, I like the "pre" Pre-show music.

yep, we have it. it's all ready to be added with the next batch (whenever Sub gets around to it. he has a few bigger things on his plate right now)..
