We hit 1000! Well done folks, that means another trip to the post office for me and hopefully another reply from Disney - maybe this one will make more sense

Keep the names coming!
BTW - Visions Fantastic has more photos of PM track repainting, etc. If nothing else they are keeping it looking nice...

G2-4T, have you sent in the 1000 signatures yet? Any response? Any more action on the track? The petition is almost up to 1050, so it's time for an update!
Drop another coin in slot and I will tell you more.

Actually I'm looking for ways to get their attention. The first round of signatures didn't go over huge so I'm thinking maybe just a letter saying we're at 1000 or whatever names and here are some choice comments [Sub from CA says bring it back already] and I'm going keep bugging you with letters, etc. Just written better than that. What do folks think? Any other bright ideas?
Side note, spaulo and I got a copy of the PM DVD from Extinct Attractions [great show!] and we're trying to find a way to get them online for folks to check out. The folks at EA are behind the idea and want to see the ride back in service once again.

What about contacting radio shows? Also, contact quickgold and have him advertise peopleforthepeoplemover on his podcast. I think contacting a high traffic site like jimhill would help as well.

I miss this ride a lot. Hope all of you signed the online petition! That was the only thing at Disneyland that had a TRON theme to it. It was a great ride you could always just get right on and relax, unlike the train which stops ever 30 seconds. It was private as well.

It's pretty sad, that with so many disney fans that peopleforthepeoplemover isn't getting more attention.

Yeah, we just some more attention, that's all. Folks here have been just great but it is tough to get so much good attention at other forums.
So to all of you that go over to other forums [LaughingPlace, MiceAge, etc.] help spread the word! A quick note about the PM petition can be a big help. I try to get out to a number of them but no doubt they get sick of hearing it from just me and I know there are ones that I miss. It only takes a few minutes and any help with the leg [or finger in this case] work is much appreciated!

I Loved that ride when I was little....there wasnt much to it but there was something about it that I really really miss. Its so sad to see the empty track above when you walk through Tomorrowland

I would definitely sign a petition anyday, any time to bring it back!

I wanna go to Disneyland!!

Looks like the petition is up to 1190 signatures! Quite impressive if you ask me. There are a lot of hearfelt comments in there. Maybe sending those with a handwritten letter would help?
I'd say if anything, send them news of the petition in time for the grand opening of the new Nemo Subs. Remind them that they're doing great, but Tomorrowland really needs the motion the Peoplemover brings.
Drop another coin in slot and I will tell you more.

In case anyone still cares, the videos at
peopleforthepeoplemover.org are now streaming in Flash format (like YouTube videos), so people who couldn't earlier use the Windows Media files, or who couldn't/wouldn't download the huge files, can enjoy the videos right there. Tell your PeopleMover-loving friends on other forums as well!
