Top 25 List

Ok first thing I admit I DON'T know how hard what I'm asking is to do. That said I never seem to get to listen to my personal top requests. Is there a way to make another link that ONLY plays the top 25 requests? That way people who keep missing what they want to hear can see where it is coming up on the now playing list and those that don't want to hear it AGAIN can avoid it?

When you mean another "link" do you mean another stream? If so, then no. There's only so much bandwidth and I can't cater to each person individually.

If you stop by the chat during weekdays, I can manually queue up songs for you if you have to have your fix.

I have been working nonstop for the past month to bring Subsonic Radio 2.0 online. There is still no ETA for it as it's taking a lot longer than I have hoped. One of the features will display when a track can be requested again. With this, you can make sure to be online at that time to request it or if someone else does, great, no points lost and you still get to listen.

I didn't mean my top 25 favorites but I did mean another stream using the subsonic listeners top 25 favorites.

That way some could get their fix with the more steady listeners not hearing the same thing all the time. I thought it might cause a bandwidth problem but didn't know what it would cost bandwidth wise compared to what you had.

I have added to my "to do" list to include a top 25 (or more) schedule to the scheduled stream. ETA for this to go into effect, unknown. I'm working on bigger and better things for SR right now.

This would be neat. It also would be neat to split the Disneyland California scheduled into different lands like Magic Kingdom is done in.

I too think that it would be a good thing to be able to listen to the top 25. This would give a 2 or 3 hour playlist that could change from week to week depending on the most requested. Add to that little "top 25" jingle like you hear on any top 25 shows and we could have something really cool.

A request station.
A schedule station.
A "top 25" station.

NOW THAT'S CHOICE FOR YA!!!

If I do implement a top 25 list that plays I'll set it up to play on the scheduled station at a specific time.

Why there's an even better idea, having a "top XX" show on the scheduled station. Would this be hard to implement or not???

I agree, I'd love to hear a weekly top 25 type show on the scheduled station. Is this possible?
