Osborne Lights

Post by G2-4T » Dec Sun 19, 2004 3:38 pm

Anyone out there see the new Big City display of lights at MGM this year? Just curious to hear reaction/comparisons now that they aren't on Res. St. anymore...

Just returned form WDW tonight. I had a chance to see Osborne lights on Saturday night. The city display far excelled the backlot scene from previous years. Plenty of lights, music, and even snow! :D

That is really good, I loved them on the houses but was a bit nervous that they'd lose something on New York St. Nice to hear they are even better than before - thanks for the report!

I saw them on Saturday. So lovely!

It was my first time seeing them, so I have nothing to compare them with, but after seeing them, all the other elaborate set ups I've ever seen pale in comparison.

I took pictures, but they don't do just to just how beautiful it is!

can you post some of the pics? I know that they can't do full justice to them, but as I've never seen them before, it'd be cool to get a taste of them... :D

Says they used 32 miles of extension cords - imagine untangling those things every year!

I saw the lights in November, right after Thanksgiving, and they were great. Its always nice to see them but this year was different because of the Stunt Show so it looks good :)
