To be honest, I have no idea how busy Columbus Day was, because I didn't even know it happened

Well, I got an email this morning...
Greetings!
I know you are extremely interested to find out about the results of the interview that you had completed with Disney. Currently Disney are waiting to hear from the US State Department on the allotment of H2B visas they will receive. Until this time, (which could be a few weeks), Disney cannot offer anyone a position. Sit tight and wait for news - we are waiting anxiously too for the news. But rest assure as soon as we hear we will be sure to let you know!!
Hope you have a Magical Day!!
Andy.

aww that stinks that you have to wait a few more weeks. I know there would be no way that I could survive that.
If you do accepted, Is it for Fall or Fall Advantage?
Are there different arrival dates for Internationals?
I know this is probably your first flight...and it's mine too...ha, ha

Neither. It's the H2B Seasonal Program. It starts on 13 May and finishes on 9 November.
Waiting sucks. I tend to find myself checking my email every five minutes to see if I've got anything
Andy. Still waiting.

Andy: It really stinks when you have to wait so long. I'm sure they will accept you back when you were such a great cast member the first time. Hang in there! We are all waiting with you!

May to November? Once we both find our roles, I will have to come find you and shout out a hello to you and people here on Subsonic who come to visit us can shout out something subsonicish to us
It sure will be fun to read your posts from May to August to get ready for my arrival date

Hah

I do recall last time I was happily working away one afternoon and all of a sudden I heard a voice from the side of the cart shouting "Hey acp, whaddya got that's good?" (I think it was Dr Ravenscroft, although I could be wrong..)
It's more spooky when guests actually read your nametag and call you by name, though

My thread from last time is still around somewhere if you want something to read in the meantime

(and all the pictures are still on my website)
Andy. Still waiting.

HA HA HA it was me. I was thinking of what to say for like 10 minutes, and I got flush when I said it too. I get nervous easily.
Of course it is much more hilarious that rdeacon walked right past me in Epcot. That one makes me laugh every time I see him in the chat.

What requirements for the Engineering Internship? My son had a start of a phone interview last week and told the interviewer that when he filled out the application he wasn't sure he could make the 2007 dates because of a specific math class he had to take. When she called him to interview, he was able to confirm that he couln't do an internship till 2008. She was very nice and told him that she would mark him as a date conflict and to re-apply next year around this time and that by the looks of his application, he was very well qualified. (Whatever that means).

I take it you are coming down for the college program for the fall? Where did you interview for? Operations? Entertainment? Custodial? F&B?

Five weeks. Still nothing. We're all still waiting.
Yesterday I got an email from Disney. It wasn't quite what I was expecting, but it was cute
