Hidden Mickey

Same for me. That was the first Hidden Mickey that I found on my own. That Maelstrom one has always been one of my favorites (maybe because, for some reason, Maelstrom has always been one of my favorite rides)... something about a viking in Mickey ears always makes me smile...

Oooh. I think I've sort of outgrown the fun of looking for them. Now someone else has to point them out to me.
I didn't see this on the Hidden Mickey's site, but there's a hidden mickey right outside the Muppets gift shop, where that sort of fake gate is. It's hidden amongst the paint splotches on the ground. A fellow cast member found it one day, and showed it to me.

Oh, and "Welcome Home."

That's the one we were talking about a few posts back. There are two actually. The mickey ears that the viking is wearing, and a much harder one to find in the fold of the woman's clothing near her clip board.Anyone ever see the hidden Mickey in the Norway mural?
I found one in the explosion painting at Dinosaur, but I'm not sure if it's supposed to be one or not.

I know that MGM is one big hidden mickey as well as the Haunted Mansion in the ballroom, the three plates. That's all I can think on the top of my head.
Do you think have enough time to go the bathroom before the next show?

Yeah, there was a huge hidden mickey, then the huge "hat" thing covered it up.Just Believe wrote:I know that MGM is one big hidden mickey as well as the Haunted Mansion in the ballroom, the three plates. That's all I can think on the top of my head.

In Maelstrom, the mural features a HUGE woman who looks like a flight attendant or Naval Officer or something. Anyway, she can't be missed. She's carrying a clipbaord, and near her right shoulder, near the edge of the clipboard, there is a hidden mickey in the folds / shadows of her shirt. It's REALLY hard to find at first. I believe it's micket at a sort of profile angle.Where about in the mural is the woman?
Another good one is in Space Ship Earth. It's on a table, made from paint rings from nearby paint cans. You have to look to your left when you pass it. I beleive it's right before the sistine chapel scene.
Test Track has one in the picture during the ride.
The Imagination ride, there are a few in the "Lab" section.
There are quite a few more but I can't think of them right now.
I was proud of my wife, she found a HUGE one in the movie TRON.

I like to look for hidden mickeys when I visit the World, I think its so neat that the imagineers and designers have enough freedom and fun to put extra things in the rides, buildings and whatnot--not really for us but just for the fun of it. That takes a little extra time and creativity, which I appreciate. I have a book I picked up recently about hidden mickeys and it is really good. Some of them I knew about and have found before but there was quite a few I had not. I'm going to have fun at the end of this month when I go trying to find these new ones!

I just bought the hidden mickey on my last trip. I had fun finding some of the Hidden Mickeys together in World Showcase. There was some easy ones and some hard ones.
My girlfriend's nephew was cute though, anytime he saw Mickey or something that Mickeys ears (even if it wasnt "hidden"), he would say to me, "Look Derek, its a hidden mickey" it was too cute.

I know this is probably your first flight...and it's mine too...ha, ha
Rain upon that planet Earth. And they rain ... and rain ... and rain. The deluge.

There are 2 in the Nemo ride. One in the queue (its pretty obvious) and there is one inside the ride (not so obvious)
The one in Bruce's lair (the shark play area has one that is really small.
Spash Mountain has at least 5. my favorite is the one at the top of the big drop lift.
Jounrey into the Imagination with Figment has 3.
Honey I shrunk the audience has one that is really hard to catch because it only exists for about 2 seconds.
