Don't even get me started on the School Bread... its an absolute must every time I go to Epcot.

If you want the best, you have to go to Le Cellier in Canada and try their Filet. If this is not in the budget then atleast get the Cheedar Cheese Soup. Or stop for dessert and try their Moose Mousse.
Have a magical day!

Speaking of Le Cellier, I loved their creme brulee (sp?)

Great Britians fish and chips are GREAT!!!
I would say our favorite sweet treat was the Beaver Tails in Canada which sadly are no more!

My wife absolutely loves the fish and chips in England. She also loves to stop in Norway at the chocolate shop, what's the name of it, to get he tulee or something. Sorry can't think of the name of it.

As we love snacking through WS here are my picks:
Mexico: Nachos at Cantina de San Angel
Norway: Open-faced turkey & cheese or almond pretzel at Kringla Bakery og Cafe
China: Skip it, you've had fried rice a zillion times before and their version is pretty bland in my opinion.
Germany: Big soft pretzel with brown mustard outside at the cart. Don't forget the beer!
Italy: Chocolates to die for in Delizie Italiane
American Adventure: like rdeacon said, you'll have enough hamburgers- skip it.
Japan: Sushi or the Lo Mein at Yakatori House
Morocco: The Vegetarian platter at Tangierine Cafe. I don't know what's in it, but it comes with a big hunk of bread to dip in all the stuff. Awesome!
France: something they call an "Elephant Ear" at the Boulangerie Paitisserie
United Kingdom: Shortbread or British chocolates at the Tea Caddy shop
Canada: Beaver Tail (fried dough with cinnamon sugar- drool drool)
...And it rained, and rained, and rained. The Deluge...

On our last trip my girlfriend and I split a combination plate from the San Angel Cantina. It was like 8-9 bucks I think but was a big enough lunch for both of us and gives a good sample of it all. I was pleasantly surprised with both the portions and the quality.
We also split the almond pretzel and the school bread. I have to say I think I preferred the pretzel to the school bread, although they were both very good. Just be warned, the school bread may not be what you anticipate, it's basically just a small football sized custard filled pastry. Tasty but very filling, but not in the good way...in the "I think that was way too much sweet, unhealthy stuff all at once and now I feel like I may die" filling.

I love the wet burrito at the San Angel Cantina as well as the Bangers and Mash at Rose & Crown with a Guiness or Black and Tan. I had a pretty good steak at Le Celiar one time as well. I would say that San Angel Inn and Rose and Crown are my favorite eating spots at World Showcase.

The Teppanyaki Grill restaurant in Japan. It is by far the most delicious food you will ever taste. Not only that but right after dinner you can watch the fireworks from the balcony! Two birds with one stone i tell ya.

I always thought Teppanyaki was mediocre compared to habachi restaurants in my area and it's more expensive :-\
I thought that the OP was asking about counter service style though as they mentioned no full meals? If not I would recommend Askershaus at Norway, it's often overlooked and over the last few years WDW's been trying to get more people in there it seems. There's a lot of smoked stuff if you like that kinda thing, plus they have the most delicious cheese I've ever had and it's all you can eat. I always post about it because Norwegian food seems to be the most uncommon food they have at Epcot, at least compared to my area (Boston/Cambridge where we have multiple restaurants which serve the food from the other countries) but it's very good, it's not really over the top expensive considering it's all you can eat, and it's different.

I agree. I tried it once and did not think it was really anything to write home about. Perhaps I just ordered the wrong thing. I have been meaning to try the Askerhaus though. I will definately get that in on the next trip.
