One more reason I'm glad I live where I do. I can go to the snow, but it doesn't come to me.

Glad to hear you're ok, JS.

I cant stand the rain when I'm cycling to lectures and if its too windy then i cant go rowing. That just leaves sunshine. Unfortunately as much as i love it, it can be really annoying being stuck in a library all day when its really hot and sunny. Warm is kinda the best of both worlds.

JS, those were some pretty cool pictures.

It amazing how bad the street looks with all the snow weighing down the trees versus after.

Brrr, the high here on Saturday is going to be -4. Now that is cold. I wish I was someplace warmer right now. Such as Disney World! Or Disneyland. Or just about anyplace Disney... :mickey:

It's below freezing and still no snow :( We're like having a snow drought this year in southern New England.

Here in Philly we still have only gotten dustings, darn it I want to get out in some deep snow. Maybe I need to move to Utah, I would be closer to Disneyland. I'm the only one on this thread that chose snow as my favorite type of weather, I am strange.

we were at around 50 Degrees with no snow until mid-January. Man, I haven't seen a green Christmas here since I was a kid. Now, we have about 1 foot of snow on the ground, and it's a balmy 27 Degrees, 16 with the wind chill.

I'm for moving to Orlando, who's in?

Eh, I'll trade houses JS, I need some accumulation or I'm going to go crazy. Cheshire Cat said it we have been getting all of this cold with no accumulation. It flurries for a while and nothing sticks. It is supposed to "snow tonight but turn to freezing rain in the morning. Next week we are looking at a high of 16 and a low of 6 with a wind chill in the negatives. I love the cold but seriously give me snow too.

Windy and frigid with times of clouds and sun Day: Windy and frigid with times of clouds and sun.

Winds NW to 22 mph. High: 16° Feels like: -8°

Night: Partly cloudy and breezy with the temperature approaching the record low of 5 last set in 1910.

Winds W to 19 mph. Low: 6° Feels like: -22°

hey, you wanna trade, be my guest.

Over the weekend, we got upwards of 2 feet where I live, and up to about 4 or 5 feet down in ski country. It's been hella windy since Friday.

Today's forcast for the Buffalo Area: High of 10, Low of 5. Windchill will bring hat temp down to between -20 and -30. Chance of snow is 30%. Tomorrow Will be similar, but will be warmer. Time to break out the summer wear. it's time for that heatwave. High of 12, with a wind chill factor of only -15. 40% chance of snow. Low of 8, with the wind chills hanging between -12 and -8 all day.

and just to give you an idea as to how cold the snow is right now, we let our dog out for 15 SECONDS earlier today. just from the snow on the porch, his back paw stuck (much like sticking your tongue to a frozen flag pole) and we had to free him with warm water poured over his foot. He is currently laying on the couch with a bandaged paw...

Sorry to hear about the puppies paw. You should get him these:

On to the weather, YES I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE THAT SNOW HERE. I have:
High: 18
Low: 9
Wind Chill: -5 right now worse this morning.

But still no snow in the forecast. It upsets me when I get low temps with no precip then in the summer I get high temp with tons of precip so it feels all sticky.

Man... today's forecast for the East Bay... high of 63, overnight low of 42, 0% chance of rain.

Expecting rain and highs in the upper 50s in the next few days, though...

Yeah... we got a few inches of snow over the weekend (for the first time all winter  ), but it wasn't enough to do anything with. I wouldn't mind if it was a little warmer though.

spaulo, I'm not feeling too bad about your rain right about now. It's currently -3 and feels like -14 with the wind. Sure wish I didn't have to go outside tomorrow morning.

I'll take warm anyday. I hate sweating when it's too hot and I hate cold when you can't feel anything hence why Spring is my favorite season. I'm always in a good mood when the weather is just warm too. I like to drive with the windows open blasting some music
I know this is probably your first flight...and it's mine too...ha, ha

Rain upon that planet Earth. And they rain ... and rain ... and rain. The deluge.
