Wow! I see we have a person with more than 50 visits as well as a 100+ visit reply! I don't see any comments from these people with details but I would have to assume that they are Florida residents and or former CM's.

If this was going strictly by trips with family and/or friends, we're looking at 11 trips that I can account for between WDW and DLR. However, I was a participant in two Walt Disney World College Program internships, so that's why I calculate my visits into the 100s. I worked at Epcot 5 days a week for almost 6 months the first time around, so that right there is upwards of 112 trips.
But all working aside, as cast members, we interns took full advantage of our free admission and went all the time for fun! Epcot became like our hangout/mall after awhile, with the World Showcase as our food court. ha ha ha.

I also said 100+. I figure it this way:
Growing up (pre-college) we took an average of 2 trips to WDW per year: 36
First semester of college: 2-4 trips (weekend one day only): 38
Remainder of first and second year of college (had a car now), averaged a trip every second or third weekend: 68 (assumes every 3rd weekend)
Next semester of college: Scientific Dive Intern at The Living Seas: (~134 days of work but not counting these as trips): 68
Remaining 2.5 years at college (now a DiveMaster at the Living Seas), ~4 days per week, frequently spending 2-4 hours in park prior to shift (2.5 years * 365 days/year * 4 days/7 day week *.25 (assume I went to other parks or around the park 1 shift out of 4)= ~130 more trips to parks: Total ~200
Next 8 years, average 2 trips per year: 216.

Is that day trips or actual vacations?spaulo wrote:I've been to Disneyland between 20-40 times in my life (between 1 and 3 trips per year, most of my 27 years) and to WDW I believe five times. So I'm the sole 31-40 person
If day trips count then I'm probably in the same group.
Unless you count all the bus rides while I was a CP, then it's well over 100.

Before you read remember this is not meant to anger anyone, but just to bring up a point and personal opinion.
Can you really count trips you make to any Disney park if you work there?
I seriously think that counting the number of days someone has been to the parks wouldn't be right. I think it should just count the number of vacation/long weekend type stuff. If I was a CM for any length of time I wouldn't count all of the times I went to the parks during that time, I would count it as one (1). You can't vacation where you work everyday.

Vacations. The ones to DL lasted 2-4 days on average, and to WDW were 5-9 days each... so the number of "days" at the parks is well over one hundred, I'd wager...MansionButler wrote:Is that day trips or actual vacations?spaulo wrote:I've been to Disneyland between 20-40 times in my life (between 1 and 3 trips per year, most of my 27 years) and to WDW I believe five times. I didn't count the times I've went to work there. I think that's rather silly. I was being a bit sarcastic with the last post.Dr. Ravenscroft wrote:Before you read remember this is not meant to anger anyone, but just to bring up a point and personal opinion.

I stick with my 20-30 range.

as of right now, I fall into the low numbers of 6 - 10, being at 7 visits with the last 1. although, in the next few years, I have a few trips planned to finish doing things I haven't done in years/yet, and to see what they have coming out. Ideally, I'd love to take at least 1 trip a year, if not more. if only I lived a little closer and could afford an AP...
