Subsonic is back from Walt Disney World

Post by subsonic » Jan Mon 15, 2007 11:36 am

Hello everybody. I'm back again. I had a wonderful time at the World. It was a bit busy though. I can't believe how much has changed over 8 years since my last visit. Expedition Everest and Mission:SPACE were fantastic. Mickey's Philharmagic is a great addition.

I can't believe how unfair it is that the last 3 times I've been away for extended periods that there's a substantial power outage longer than an hour (I have a UPS with an hour battery time). So, sorry about the 128k streams being down. On top of that, when I reset the power, there were issues on the website where the port for requesting songs was blocked. Sorry as well.

I'm glad I came back to restart the server but I want to go back to WDW :)

Random Themes
I have taken down the Holiday theme. Now, when visiting the site, a random theme should appear. If you want to always use a theme, visit the themes section, select it, and it'll remain that way until you pick another or random.

Glad you had such a great time at WDW, post pics please :D

I like the random themes I think I will just let it stay that way instead of the same one, I like variety.

Glad to have you home!

Welcome back, Sub! I'm glad you had a wonderful time at the World, despite it being so busy. At least the weather wasn't freezing cold.

I was a bit surprised when I saw the homepage and the futuristic theme showed up. It's a nice addition to the site. If there are plans for additional themes, an Adventureland type would be cool, I think.

Thanks everybody, though I don't know it's good to be back. I'd rather be at WDW. :)

As far as random themes go, these themes have been there for quite a while now. That's why I MADE them random. I put in the hard work and people didn't know about them :)

As Mr. Burns would say, "Excellent".

I think almost everyone would rather be at some Disney theme park rather than where they are now. Unless they're at one.

I think Kelly would tend to disagree on at least one of the themes...

and as far as themes go, wasn't someone also trying to work on a Frontierland theme or something so long as they could get a decent wood pattern? what ever happened to that..?

A belated welcome back, sub! Glad you enjoyed your long overdue trip to Disney World.

On the themes topic, I love all the ones available now and would love to see more. If only school weren't once again consuming all of my available free time...guess I'll just have to appreciate all your fantastic work on the site!
Drop another coin in slot and I will tell you more.

Any day at Disney is better than being at home or work.....and I am glad that you made them random cause I get lazy and hated to take the time to change them. So thanks for doing it for me
