Animal Kingdom's Side Entrance

Post by Croaker » Oct Sun 15, 2006 3:27 am

psst...does the line look long? well if your at the Animal Kingdom....just head into the Rain Forest Cafe...and out the side of the store and you will see a nice little unknown gate into the Animal Kingdom (this is of course for those that haven't been to Animal Kingdom much) its usually not crowded and its my favorite way to leave the park too!

I actually last went during Persidents Week in Feburary two years ago. I think I just wasn't a crowded day. Do you go there often?

GREAT TIP! I have been to the Rain Forest many, many times useing that side entrance, and never, ever, thought of useing that entrance to avoid the crowd entering Animal Kingdom. Now if I can just remember it next time we go.

My wife and I went at the first week of October. No lines at all, saw EVERYTHING at least 5 times. Got off, then got right back on. That was 1980, 26 years ago, Oct 3rd. Our Honeymoon.

we usually go that time too (like this time Oct. 6-13th.) we use Columbus Day so we can have the office closed and the kids can not miss at least one day of school. the crowds were not bad either but i know alot of people tend to go during conventions etc....laugh speaking of which...our pastor told me that in 2007 our General Assembly was going to be in Orlando and he was excited till i asked when...he told me..JULY! um no thanks...did Disney in July once..that was one time too much!

The line in august for Animal Kingdom got real long so I'm glad you told me this so the next time I go, I'll make sure I use this side entrance. I'm sure my girlfriend's family will probably think I'm nuts but they already do anyway so I guess it won't be that big of a deal.
I know this is probably your first flight...and it's mine too...ha, ha

Rain upon that planet Earth. And they rain ... and rain ... and rain. The deluge.

I'm guessing you just mean the MK....otherwise maybe you're a little confused? Or maybe I'm just confused...

Definitely go in that way if it's busy. The poor CM at that turnstile is always so sad.

Just don't go during the early extra magic hours. They were closed when JS and I tried.

I am so sorry for the half thought. You are correct, I was thinking of the Magic Kingdom.
