When do I buy my tickets?

Post by soccermouse » Dec Thu 07, 2006 1:48 pm

My family is going to WDW in June 2007. When should I buy tickets? I hear that ticket prices often go up as of January 1st. Does anybody know if that will happen this year? How far ahead of a trip can I buy tickets without having them expire?

Thanks for any help you can give me.

I would buy them sooner then later. There is no set time on when they are going to raise prices. But they are not going to lower them!

Did you decided on what tickets you are going to get?

And don't worry about them expiring. Some tickets expire a couple of weeks or so after their first use but that first use doesn't have to be by a particular time.

We used to buy them the first day at the park, but now that you can get them before, it is so much easier. Usually at a Disney store.

I believe it is less expensive if you buy them in advance as well.

If you have the money I would buy them now. I don't recall the tickets going down in price, but they have went up in price a couple times this past year so to be safe I'd get them as soon as possible.

as others have stated, it's cheaper to get the tickets ASAP. You'll lock in the most current price, and avoid any potential increases. The tickets will never expire if not used. All tickets will expire within 14 days of the first use, unless the "No Expiration" option is purchased for an extra $50/ticket).
