Usually after Thanksgiving, but I have been too lazy to put stuff away (3 foot fiberoptic tree) the whole year so I dont know where that counts.

Day after Thanksgiving is fair game, but we don't buy a tree until after my birthday (Dec 12)

My fiancee shudders at the idea of a fake tree... both her parents and my parents have them, but she insists on the needle-dropping reality.

I put the lights on the house yesterday - traditionally the weekend after Thanksgiving.

I hate seeing Christmas stuff in stores before Halloween!!!

This is what mine look like so far:

I haven't finished yet because I hurt my foot and haven't been able to go up a ladder for a while. I think I just pulled a muscle from going up and down so many times.

After I get back from WDW I will put up more on the house itself.

That tree looks very cool. I think the color contrast is great.

We'll be putting ours up tomorrow, I believe.

For the record, the Magic Kingdom christmas tree went up on the 2nd of November. So early.

Wow, all these decorations. Our family hasn't done anything yet, and probably won't until next week.

I remember once we left on our icicle lights on the house for the entire year. The following holiday season, we were surprised to see that most of them still shone when plugged in.
