Disneyland Audio and Video Download Site

Post by DisneyDreamer » Nov Tue 21, 2006 5:24 pm

Anybody been on the site for Disneyland where you can download audio and video files? Awesome. Wish Subsonic could do the same with the World.

He can't because he does not own the music that plays here. There is a little thing called copyright. Owning a copy of a CD does not mean you own the music.

I realize that. What I don't understand is how this other station can do it. I can download every ride and show in Disneyland and/or the audio. Even shows can be watched and downloaded. Just wondering.

Though, you can post a url to it here! :)

I think they do what I do. Keep doing it until they get a letter from Disney telling us to shut down the site :)

URL for Disneyland Video and Audio Downloads

Post by DisneyDreamer » Nov Wed 22, 2006 2:10 pm

As much as we all love the World, I found a lot of cool shows and rides that are found in Disneyland and are downloadable. Anybody interested just go to www.visionsfantastic.com. You'll thank me. The obvious plus about Subsonic is it has hundreds of audios to listen to which I love to put on and just listen to.

As I understand it, there is a big difference between posting something that you have recorded live (video or audio) and something ripped from a copyrighted CD or DVD. As I see it, Disney likely does not care so much if someone posts their own video or pics AS LONG AS they are not profiting from it. I know that The Unofficial Guide books, for example, can not use photos, etc. without permission from Disney and so they don't.

I think that's how Martin Smith comes up with his amazing WDW and DLRP videos. He uses all fan-recorded material, and charges nothing for his videos. He also makes sure to note Disney copyrights.

You can find a list of his videos at

Thanks for all the great links guys! I agree with bostoncg, I would really hate to see this place go now that I finally found it. I used to be a listener of some of those "other stations" and our firewall here at work blocks everything I used to use but I can listen here for some reason. Thank goodness!

I checked out that website. It's not very easy to navigate, that, or they just don't have much on there. Nothing seems to be broken as far as different media types. Very frustrating. Thanks anyways.
