Anyone found the original source of park audio?

Post by kronk's angel » Oct Thu 26, 2006 11:38 am

Has anyone found the original sources of park audio by non-disney artists?

For instance, I found Raghupati and Footprints from AK was from the CD "Footprints" by Jai Uttal:
http://www.amazon.com/Footprints-Jai-Ut ... B0000057PG

And "I Already Have a Husband" is by (who else? Should've known...) the Balafon Marimba Ensemble:
http://www.amazon.com/Putumayo-Presents ... B000003EJ0

Also, the "Space" theme used in several places is from the Rocketeer:
http://www.amazon.com/Rocketeer-Origina ... 30-3379112

(You can listen to samples at the amazon site).

Anyone found anything else? :D
No, no... He's got a point.

DCA uses a lot of soundtrack clips (Dave, The Last Starfighter, etc.) as does Frontierland (Bonanza and others)... those are available on their show/movie soundtrack albums...

Check out Disney Music Loops at http://www.whaleweb.net/kirsten/dml/ if you're not familiar with it already. Kirsten has lists of lots of park audio showing artist and CD.

What a great list. We should make a checklist out of it and see what we have and what's missing from the playlist.

My goodness. What an incredibly detailed listing...

I hereby nominate Disneys America's posting for the prestigious annual "Most Complete Answer to a Question" award.

I hope the mods are able to discover some new tracks!

Thank you, America. (still waiting for that park, btw).
