OK. I just got back from working Fantasmic!, which is really cool :)

Anyway. Here's a kind of plan. If you are coming down here and want to meet up at some point, I'm guessing you're not going to be able to read the forum all the time to see when I say I'm not working. So. If you drop me an email to andrew@andrewpoole.org.uk and let me know, I'll send you my US mobile phone number so you can send me a text message or something like that and I can let you know when I'm not working. Or when I am working so you can pester me to serve you. Or something like that.

Andy. Going to bed now.

Saturday 21st October I am off. So if that date is still cool with you guys, I can make it on that day. Unless they change my schedule, which is unlikely. Next question is.. What time and where?

Hope you have time to check out the new Nemo ride. I hear they're having soft openings. There's already a really bad quality video of it floating around somewhere.

So, now that you've been working for a while, what's it like being an ODF?

Oh, and "Welcome Home."

Unfortunately, the cast previews of that were today, and I was working all day :( I have seen the entrance to it, since they took the fences down last week. I'm going to keep an eye out on it, though.. See if I can find a soft opening.

It's OK being an ODF. It gets a bit manic at times (doubly so when you're a runner on the food booths at the back of Fantasmic, as I was yesterday), but it's fun. I like it.

One thing I do really like about working here, though, is that everybody is just so friendly. OK, I expected people at Disney to be friendly, but they seem more friendly than I imagined they'd be. If you see what I mean.

I'm still good on that day. Talked to my brother and he is good for it too, he is shy and usually doesn't like meeting new people (that is why you here from me more than him). I will contact you tomorrow on your e-mail.

Tomorrow afternoon (Thursday) I'm likely to be in the popcorn cart by the entrance to Fantasmic. Unless they change me from what it says on my schedule, which doesn't happen too often.

Andy. Just back from the Magic Kingdom, where they're doing Happy HalloWishes every night until the end of the month now, although it doesn't include the all-round fireworks that the MNSSHP fireworks do...

PS.. What's happening on Saturday. Times, places? Someone decide!

OK. I've replied to your PM (read: will do so in about 5 minutes). Currently, I've no other plans for Saturday yet (with the exception of heading over to MGM for a very short time in the morning (around 15 minutes in total) before turning round and heading back to my apartment before going to wherever I spend the day. I'll let you guys pick a time and place to meet, and I'll join you when the time comes :) Take your pick :)

Andrew,

It was nice meeting you.

Dr. Ravenscroft,

My family will also be doing MNSSHP on Friday evening. If you see someone walking around in a dive skin and wetsuit, it is probably me.
Regards,
Aaron

Heh.

SeasDiver claims the prize for being the first person from Subsonic's site to find me at work :)

Hey,

Sorry about that.. You kept calling when I couldn't hear my phone or had it in my bag :)

I'll aim to be at Epcot at around 2 or 3pm tomorrow, and I'll give you a call when I get there. I'll hang around at Epcot for a little while before I head on to the Magic Kingdom to watch HalloWishes.

According to my schedule, I'm working "Coke Bottle" on Sunday, which is the food thing with the big coke bottle next to it near the backlot tour in MGM. I've never worked that location before, so whether that's true or not I don't know (and won't know until I turn up for work on Sunday morning). I'm working from 1030-1745 on Sunday, so you will have plenty of time to try and find me if I'm not there :)

Monday I'm doing the little stand outside Star Tours, Tuesday the one outside the Tower of Terror/Rock 'n' Roller Coaster, Wednesday the popcorn stand at the entrance to Fantasmic (where SeasDiver found me on Thursday), and Thursday the stand outside the Little Mermaid (just inside the Disney-MGM Studios archway). Friday and Saturday I'm off.

Cheers,

Andy.

Cool I just got up about an hour ago at 10:00am, man walking around all night and staying up until 2am is a bad combo. Sunday I will look for you over there, we leave Wednesday morning.

OK, first of all.. once again.. I'm so sorry about today. I had every plan of going to Epcot this afternoon before I got on the bus to MGM Cast Services this morning. Sitting on the same bus (by coincidence) was a friend who is doing the same program I am over here, who told me it was her birthday today and to cut a long story short I ended up in MGM for the afternoon and then going to Planet Hollywood in Downtown Disney for the evening, hence I didn't get as far as Epcot.

As I said earlier, though, I will be working tomorrow if you're around MGM you can come and say "hi", and I'm thinking of heading to the Magic Kingdom tomorrow evening, and will be at the Not So Scary on Tuesday (I think). I also have every evening this week that I'm not at work, so could do a subsonic meet on most of those.

Andy. Sorry again!
