Disney parade music

Post by davyjones » Oct Mon 16, 2006 10:56 am

Someone just requested (and I listened happily while dancing in my office) the Main Street Hop from Disney's Blast to the Past campaign in 1989. Coupling this with someone's request on Friday of Party Gras for Disneyland's 35th birthday has made me realize that I have not seen ANY parades as wonderful and fun and colorful and addicting as these.

Has anyone else? Has there been a parade since these gems that have topped their ability to get people to sing and dance on the same level. (Man, those were exciting years at the Park.)

I've never seen a parade at Disneyland. It's too perfect a time to jump on the Matterhorn or Space Mountain

Wow. Just heard the ending of that Main Street Hop track... those were SOME AWFUL voices for Mickey and Goofy. Yikes.

I'm not a fan of that track, especially the sequence of "Minnie has a crush on you". In fact, for me, it's probably the most annoying segment on the station.

You're soooo right. Man. This song is why people think it's odd to listen to them park audio.
No, no... He's got a point.

Is that the same parade wherein in Minnie says, "you're my only Romeo" or something like that. Cuz I cringe at that track.
"A pirate in irons be full o' guile.
And the blackest 'art wears the broadest smile."

Oh, and "Welcome Home."
