Boy, bostoncg, you can't seem to win, can you?

Today here in sunny California, it's about 76 degrees with a light cloud cover and slight breeze.

Ahhhh nice.

I wouldn't want to be at the beach today. They said the sand was 136 degrees and if you walk on it you will burn the bottom of your feet, and who wants to wear shoes at the beach.

Ofcourse this all has to happen the day I get back from socal where it was in the low 80s as the high for the past 6 days.

I think I'd actually prefer work to the beach on a day like this. it's hot and sticky here too. but at least at work, there's air conditioning like the good lord intended.

interesting fact, the guy that invented airconditiong is from about 30 minutes away from where I live, and he's buried in Forest Lawn cemetary which is a huge landmark in our area (millard filmore and aretha franklin's mother are buried there)... just thought I'd throw that out there...

JS3901 we only have 1 old window unit to cool our offices and needless to say it ain't workin' so the beach and being in the cool water would be a welcome relief! My car with the ac on is cooler than this office :D maybe I should go sit in my car and work off our WiFi network 8)

It's been at, over, or around 100 for the last couple of weeks. Very little rain and when it has rained it's come down in buckets with very stronge winds!!

I sometimes hate the weather here. Last week, for instance, it was 40 degrees one day, 65 the next, 74 the next, then down to 40 again. There have been times where it has rained, snowed, sleeted, and blizzarded, all in a 24 hour period. All because of the stupid lakes.
You live way upstae NY? I have brother in Middletown NY and sometimes you guys don't even get summer!! It's kinda like FALL-WINTER-FALL! I love the change of weather in Chattanooga. It would be nice if we got some snow every once in a while!!

I live in Western New YHork (WNY) just outside of Buffalo. it is upstate, but closer to Erie PA. I'm about 1 1/2 hours from Erie and about 3 hours from Cleveland. and because we have 2 of the great lakes surrounding us, and the other 3 affecting us because of wind, that's why I said in an earlier post that we get 4 seasons like everyone else but ours are a little different - winter, almost winter, still winter, and construction.

never had that problem, as we have garages which keep the snow off. only problem there is having to clear the driveway and sidewalks...

I chose perfect beach weather. I live near the coast, and if the rest of the bay area is having nice pleasant or even hot weather, chances are that my city and the beach is in fog by noon. I hate fog.

It would be awesome to spend a day on the beach, just hanging out and having a fun time with friends.

But then I also like hot weather. Give me anything under 95.

ok, weather sucks right now. we had the worst storm this early in the season. I'm on a VERY limited connection with very low battery because we have no power. they're expecting the power to be back up sometime on tuesday. hopefully we get it sooner as we have no heat at the moment...

Honestly, I love Rain! Not because I run in it but because there a warm feeling you get when it's cold, windy, and rainy outside that just reminds me of being a little kid
Do you think have enough time to go the bathroom before the next show?
