If folks are interested I can post the list of who all the 1st round of signatures went to...A few handwritten [everything I heard says they really put extra weight on those] letters from PM fans sure would help!

WHOA!!!! who'd a thought I was the author of this discussion!!!
I really am excited to hear how much people LOVE the PeopleMover. I remember going on it for my first and last time
BUT now I think we can get Disney's attention with this petition. I'll get friends to sign it as well.

Do you think have enough time to go the bathroom before the next show?

A bit of news - crews were seen painting the inside of the tunnels near Buzz/Star Tours recently. The question came up - "why spend money on an area people can barely even see?". That is, unless they are planning something bigger... One can hope...
There have also beeen recent reports of crews doing work on the track, mostly painting from the reports.

Big thanks kronk, that has been a tremendous help already. A huge spike in names today! If anyone else out there reads blogs where the PM site would fit submit the link, etc. to them - those are often great places to spread the word.
And now for the much awaited news - the videos are here! Week One - History of the Peoplemover. Check it out at the site now...

It's posted on BoingBoing.net today, which I believe is the 'net's most popular blog.
The permalink is:

Somewhat unfortunately, comments seem to focus on it's dangerous-ness. Maybe some more upbeat comments would help.
