The Amazing Adventures of Spiderman the Attraction!!!

Post by Just Believe » Sep Tue 26, 2006 8:03 pm

THERE ARE NO SPOILERS IN HERE!!! ONLY A GENERAL OVERVIEW OF THE RIDE SYSTEM, EVERYTHING ELSE WILL BE A SURPRISE

I was BLOWN AWAY by this ride. After I went on this ride it became my ALL TIME favorite, even topping all DIsney rides. After that day, I regained my old Disney favorites. But Whoa!!!! It was cross between Indiana Jones, Honey I Shrunk the Audience, Star Tours, Space Mountain and Haunted Mansion. The ride system is totally original. It was like the Onimover of the HM with a Starspeeder shape car with a system just like Indy's EMV system with the car 's reaction to the environment. The ride itself is like a dark ride with elaborate sets, twisting turns and fast-paced movements. So where does Honey mix in with all of this? The ride is combined with a 3-D film. So it's like you start off going through the alleys of NYC, moving to a seemless screen blending in with the environment and with jetting 3-D images. You then spin off with twisting turns, sensory effects within the vechile and more.

IT IS AMAZING!!! WHO AGREES WITH ME???

Do you think have enough time to go the bathroom before the next show?

I totally agree - it's an incredible attraction. There is a similar concept with different storyline at Busch Gardens Europe (themed to a Haunted Castle).

Busch Gardens has a theme park in Europe? Or did you mean the Europe themed Park in Williamsburg VA.?

The park in Williamsburg is called Busch Gardens Eurpoe - it's almost in my backyard and we've got season passes to it - great park, not quite Disney but great theming and great rides.

Here's a link to the attraction I'm referring to: http://www.buschgardens.com/bgw/ar_curs ... astle.aspx

I don't live close by, but my dad works for Anheuser Busch (for over 20 years) so we get free passes when we make the trek down. I've always like that park. More than the Tampa FL one.

It's a great park! We just did Tampa for the first time in years last summer and thought it was super, too.

I have to say that their trailer is horrible. It doesn't show what the ride is about in the least. They flash some random, possibly scary, images and that's it. No footage of the attraction at all.

It sounds like a similar Haunted Mansion sort of thing but I doubt it could amount to the HM

No, it's the exact same ride technology and vehicles as Spiderman with a Haunted Castle theme - the trailer is just a teaser.
