It made you dizzy? That's the first time I heard someone saying that. I agree that the Dick Dale soundtrack was much better. The new one just doesn't seem as thrilling.

Oh, and "Welcome Home."

i guess i just got so into the effect that it really made my balance go crazy. then coming off the lift into darkness and turing to the left really got me so disoriented!

Space Mountain at DL is one of my most loved rides. I enjoy it so much I just cant stop laughing the whole time Im on it. Its sooooooooo much fun!! The music is the best too, it really goes great with the ride.

I was wondering though, unless its just my imagination the music for Space Mountain on this website is slightly different to how it is on the actual ride. Is this an older version? Is it possible to get the new one? Or am I just going insane by thinking its different?

There are two versions of the music. Actually 3 if you consider the pre music audio.

A Musical History Of Disneyland - Disc 5 - 07 space mountain (new daytime track)
This is from the current ride.

Disneyland - Tomorrowland - space mountain - ride music
This is from the 1995-2005 era

Disneyland - Tomorrowland - space mountain - flight sounds
This was pre music
