I think if it was a bit cheaper it would attract more people, The price was alway a big turn off for me.

That's what always did it for me. I've never been and have always wanted to check it out, but I'm not THAT into video games to pay that much.

The price was a big turn-off for us, too, as a family of 4. So we never went, even though the kids wanted to check it out. Just too much money to spend on something you're not sure you're going to enjoy.

I do happend to agree that the price is overpriced but where in WDW or DL is anything not over-priced. Honestly!!! Disney is always over the reasonable price.
Do you think have enough time to go the bathroom before the next show?

we always get the parkhopper pass that includes DisneyQuest. Cyber-SpaceMountain, Alladin, and Pirates is pretty much the only reason why we go there. its a nice time killer before turning in.

I think its really a relaxing place. It's a great place to let the kids go off without watching them every .5 seconds since its not very crowded there.

Rather than start a new thread, I thought I'd post up a link here. I'm slowly making videos available of Disney Quest circa 1998. I have the first video up on Youtube of the elevator. I might be wrong with it being 1998, but I'm pretty sure I went a little after it opened in WDW. Hope all the Quest fans like it!

Is Disney Quest still a separate $40 attraction? I'd like to go some night after the parks, but to pay as much as a park admission for DQ, seems a bit much.

As far as I know it's a separate ticket, but if you do an add-on to the park hopper ticket package, it's a much better deal.

yes, os slotofkit said, it is a separate ticket attraction. according to the official page, Price Range: $29.00-$35.00. but you can add the "Waterpark Fun and More" option (I think it's about $40/day addition to the ticket) but will get you into DisneyQuest, both waterparks, Pleasure Island, and the wide world of sports complex.

Isn't it a lot like Dave & Busters, but with a Disney theme?

I wouldn't put it quite like a Dave and Busters. It's much more. It has attractions in it that have game elements. Think of Buzz Lightyear, only without really moving anywhere.

Seem's like an expensive high-tech arcade.
Just needs a cheaper cover charge maybe.

It's still more than that. I'm guessing you've not been to one, so i must say you've got to go to it to really appreciate it. My brother and I have spent the majority of the day there, but we did have an add on to our park hopper tickets, so it was cheap.

You're right, I haven't been. Back when it was pay per event we never had the time, always at Pleasure Island or at a park late. Now that its a separate ticket or add-on we haven't bothered to go. I'd like to, but the various forums haven't had much great to say, though it does appear that Quest is getting a makeover, so maybe it will be worth it.

Problem is, I have a 10-day park hopper (no expiration) that I bought in 2005 and only used 1 day on. So when we go back this July, we'll be using that ticket and it doesn't have the water parks and more option.
