OK! It's official. I spoke with my Sis this AM, and even if she's not doing the SPA thing, she would be willing to come to breakfast that AM. So, I'm on either way! So....... Question now is Which resort to hit for the meal? It should be a MK one, since that's where we'll all be anyway! These are some of our options (in no particular order);
  • *Grand Floridian - 1900 Park Fare (Character Dining)
    *Polynesian - Kona Café
*Wilderness Lodge - Whispering Canyon Café (Just Plain FUN!)
*Contemporary- Chef Mickey's OR Concourse Steakhouse
*Fort Wilderness- Trail's End Restaurant (good buffet)

My vote is for the Whispering Canyon. They have a GREAT stick to your ribs family style breakfast! (Biscuits and gravy! MMMMMMMMMMM) Can't get that up north! What's your vote?

:)

any of them sound fine to me. We'll be at Fort Wilderness already, but I'll have my car/disney's transportation so we can get anywhere we need... we'll let the good Dr. decide... hehe

True, The Wilderness Lodge, or any of those Hotels is a Short Boat Ride/monorail trip away from FW.

I'll leave it up to whatsapooh, tee hee. But I guess I would go with the Whispering canyon too, of course I have never been to any of them for Breakfast. Most of the time I wake up late due to the fact that I was out until 1 or 2am the previous night.

Actually, Whatsapooh may be changing the dates of her trip (read her message below)..... SOOOO it may just be us 3.

Sorry I haven't been around much and just catcing up with this thread. Family and I are supposed to be there 12/2 thru 12/9, but we might be changing to 12/9 thru 12/16 (can get a discount for the later dates) Saving $300 or so is mightly appealing. :D
We have 2 votes for Whispering Canyon then I suppose that's where we should head. So... we have a place. I know that check-out time is usually around 11 or so. And you're driving so you'll probably be packing up that morning too. Question is.. what time should we meet so you'll be able to "Get out of Dodge" in time. I'm not opposed to getting up early if you are wanting to head out early. Just let me know so I can be there in time (to take the monorail to the Contempory and catch a boat to the Wilderness Lodge). We have to make sure to PM each other's Digits just in case before we go. (yes... I bring my cell phone to Disney... It helps if you get separated from your party!)

Should I wear the Pink Mouse Ears so you'll know it's me? ;) :mickey:

D'oh I guess I should pay attention when I read, instead of speed reading.

Time wise I'm not sure We will have to figure that one out off forum I guess. I bring my Nextel too, work pays most of it, and it never fails while I'm down there or out in DL someone from work Nextels me and asks if I can do something. My favorite response is let me get on the next available flight out and I will be there in about 12-24 hours, and your office is being charged the $600 for the flight (if I'm going I'm going first class).

We'll get you a nice new one to wear. Lightbulb.....Hey I just had an idea we should get mickey ears embrodered for the meeting, I know they don't put to much on them but we can figure something out.

as far as time frames go, I'm not really a morning person so much, especially if I'm on vacation. The exception being Disney. On that day, I think if check out is 11:00 or 12:00, we can eat first, then pack. I can;t speak for the good Dr., but I know I don;t have to be anywhere until that Monday, so I know I can delay leaving for however long it takes to finish doing whatever.

I, also, am planning on bringing my phone, as I use it to keep up with the news (I have a Verizon V-cast phone and get streaming video clips of the latest news stories). I'll probably send both of you (Dr. and knedeau) an email with the info when we get closer/ready to leave.

Sorry about not being able to meet up with you. We decided to change our dates and won't be arriving until the 9th. Have a wonderful time and maybe I can meet up with everyone next year. :D

I think August or September would be the best time, before school starts.

You are so sweet! My sister wears an EXTRA SMALL (she's oober tiny), and I wear a small or a medium....depends on the shirt... if it's a regular T-shirt.. a medium...(for jogging) if it's a "Baby T", I wear a small.

:)

it'll probably be the baseball jersey from the store: http://www.cafepress.com/subsonicradio.14417843

I'm currently weighing options (buying from here or getting something screen printed around here. whichever doesn;t cost me a ton of money is the winner.

will do. I'm probably go to price out the screen printing tomorrow, and I'll let you know if I need them (I may just end up getting them directly from the official store.
