And Why NOT?!?!? It's included in the price of the room...

One of the things I like about DVC is no daily housekeeping - it is much simpler

I WANT MY HOUSEKEEPING!!!!

Seriously, I'm with most everyone else. I'm on vacation. Why in the world would I want to make my own bed? Any discount they would give just wouldn't be worth it. If it were 50%, I might think about it. But $5 or $10 a night? Forget it. Make my bed, leave me fresh towels and put a mint on my pillow.

Have you ever walked by some of the rooms which people have abandoned after most likely a week with no housekeeping?! Yikes! Not a room I would take as my first choice. Those poor people practically have to nuke the room and start fresh!

My family is quite messy and we usually leave the room in a mess in the morning when we are hurrying to get to the park and if we came back to the room in a mess, I would hate it. It is definitely worth it to get housekeeping.

Amen! Housekeeping is more than a person picking up after your sloppy self! It's generally a person who ignores your your less than cleanly habbits and works to the best of her/his ability to expand the magic of your stay from the time you leave your room to the time your tired head head hits your pillow.

I salute you fluffers of the Disney pillows! Not only do you make my room look wonderful; but you bring a smile to my daughter's face every time! 8)

No way would I give up housekeeping! Some people take towels from the hotel, well I would like to bring home someone from house keeping..hee hee

I love having fresh towels, tolietries and sheets when I get back to the room. If they haven't cleaned the room yet then I get depressed and have to leave until they come in and do their thing. I am not messy either, everything is always nice and neat, but I still like having housekeeping every day.

I tip them too because I worked at a hotel front desk once and we had to cross train and go with housekeeping for a day.....People can be soooooo grose!! So I make sure I let housekeeping know that I appreciate them!

I did an internship at a hotel once (a Holiday Inn) and worked in maintainence for a while. I never got to housekeeping. But, you'd be surprised at some of the things that even Houskeeping misses in rooms. There were some mighty strange things in the lost and found because of us...
