How many increases has that been in the last 5 years? I think that would be 5!! Do you think they have us by the short and curlies? May be we'll see some improvements in the parks now!!
My BEST freind; who has been a tech at EPCOT for over 17 years and he's told me many times that when DIsney builds something, they don't buget maintenance. Well it's time they do!! After all the increaes, we should see something for all the money!!

I don't think that was a political statement, but rather a statement of fact. If gas prices go up everything goes up, especially the travel/vacation industry. Well...I should say that's one option- another is to drastically cut prices to encourage more people but Disney doesn't really need that I don't think.

This is old news to me, but that's because I live within the Orlando broadcast area. Anything to do with Disney soon pops up on the evening news.... good or bad. (Guess which kind pops up the quickest.)

Thank you, Walt, for making animation what it is today.

Prices for tickets have gone up 16% this year and I don't about you, but my wages have not gone up 16% and it's not like gas is cheap for us normal folk either.

I completely agree. I think if we all got 16% pay increases as often as the price of Disney tickets went up it would be less of an issue. Man, now that would be kind of nice.
Please keep your arms and legs inside the vehicle until the ride comes to a full and complete stop. Thank you, and enjoy the rest of your day here at Walt Disney World.

I don't want to get in a whole class debate but it's getting expensive for my wife and I. We are both hard working blue collar workers and what with the rising cost of gas and now ticket prices, it makes it harder and harder to visit Disney. I can't imagine what it must be like if we had kids too.

I'm just worried that Disney is going to get out of touch for a lot of people. And that was never the intention. Disney was suppose to be a place for everyone to spend time with their families. I just hope it doesnt' get to the point like in Jurrassic Park where it comes across only for the rich. But they'll have a "coupon" day for the lower class.

Hey.......... Six flags tickets are 50 bucks. I'd pay 20 bucks more for Disney. Especially since the Difference in the QUALITY of the parks is NIGHT & DAY!

What's sad is another couple we are friends with who now have two children state this will be their last year. Next year they will have to buy a pass for the one child and it will be over $600 for season passes. That's the seasonal one, with BLACK OUT dates. It's sad cause we enjoyed going to the parks with them, but we don't have children.
