VFX has some excellent TTA footage that will be up on the site shortly, inc. a ride in 1993 when it was still ORAC-1 narrating your journey.

The new site looks fantastic thanks to spaulo's mad web skills. We should have the DNS work sorted out shortly - for today the main site redirects to the new one. And then come the videos, watch for VFX's TTA videos as well as a Peoplemover ride-thru and a history of the Peoplemover video that is guarenteed to be far more interesting than anything you ever watched in history class!

The site looks great guys! Nice work!

I think I might have some photos of the ride somewhere, I'll dig for them.

I need to convert the videos from the format they're in to Flash... much more friendly for web play... anyway, I hope to do the first one this weekend. We plan on releasing them piecemeal rather than putting them all up at once.

Hey folks, help out the site by Digging this entry for it...

Love the new site! It has a fantastic feeling of motion. There's a somewhat retro look about it too - excellent for the Peoplemover. I'm ready for it's return.

I dug it! Hope that helps. Looks like the numbers keep rising. Let me know if there's anything else I can do to help out!
Drop another coin in slot and I will tell you more.

That's awesome! It's probable more plausible then the expansion of the monorail... since the PM tracks are already there!

it only makes sense

Post by kapper1965 » Aug Mon 21, 2006 3:51 pm

as it probably won't cost them much to get it going. i really hope they don't pixar it by making it a cars or incredibles attraction though!

OMG... I know YOU wouldn't want that... I think that would be awesome! How cool would that be!?! Those little white bubble cars! I would go to DL in California JUST for that!

what i think they should do about cars is change the grand prix raceway at wdw to cars, so they can brand that attraction and not change disneyland's which i think is cute.

but there is something about the incredibles bubble cars that would be kinda neat now that i am thinking about it. as you speed around the track you would encounter different thing that would want to stop you, as if you are the incredibles. hmmm, we might be on to something.

This morning we hit the 500 mark! Way to go folks - just a couple days over a month since it started! And with that a letter is being written up right now to send in to the folks at Disneyland with the first 500 names.

So - next goal - 1,000 by Oct. 1st... Let's see if we can make it way ahead of schedule. Each 500 signature batch [500, 1000, 1500...] will be sent in to Disneyland to show that folks really do care.

BTW - thanks kapper! Hopefully we can give them the nudge needed to push forward on reopening the ride.

Ok - letter is all ready to go but I was wondering if anyone out there has addresses for:

Bob Iger, Jay Rasulo, Al Weiss, Ed Grier, Greg Emmer, Jon Storbeck

I have generic addresses but I know there are more specific addresses available out there if you know where to look. Problem is where do I find them? Gracias!
