Sorta embarasing.. We met my wifes family in Disney for a week 3 years ago. We ate at the 50's prime time cafe and I guess the pork chops (however good they were) didnt agree with me. All night long I was up with it coming out both ends. I was so deydrated and tired but darn it I wasnt going to miss our EPCOT day. So the next day after about 2 hours of sleep and still feeling queezy we get to Epcot and I ride SpaceShip Earth...

That did it! I had to go back to the room for another couple hours.. Then I get back to the park and fall asleep on a bench in a more desertered part of the Innoventions West.

I woke up 5 hours later hungry as an Ox and ate a huge meal at MExico. The embarasing part is I missed almost the whole day at my favorite park with my family :(

Hmmmmmmmm .... Note to self..... don't order the pork chops... ;)

It sucks that you had to miss out on your day at Epcot though! You slept 5 hours on the bench? Ouch. I'm surprised people weren't coming up to you asking if you were ok... BTW... How's Baby Addlema (Logan)? Updated Pics? ;)

It was in a deserted area where they were having an art show actually for the flower and garden festival. I have no idea what used to be in there but it was very quite. I was not feeling good at all!

All right time to here an parental embarassment story. In Febuary i was at DLR with my mom to celebrate finishing school. For the first time i could remember i was going to see mickey at his house. After being ushered in i was still to nervous to go up to him (i know it's childish) so my mom went first. She was so excited to see mickey that she knocked him over!! He fell completly to the ground and my mother fell too crushing him. i was so embaressed for her and me all i could do was appologize proffusly and repeatedly to my childhood idol and his assistant and we left without me seeing him  i still haven't gone back to see him I'm still embaressed.
Yes, this is my happy place! Well, when not in my happy place.

It's official, The family is visiting Disneyland in October!

I don't have an extremely embarassing story, but a couple that made my want to walk away forever.

At Cafe Orleans at Disneyland, the line was really s l o w, so I decided to speed some things up by grabbing my Chocolate Milk ahead of time. The chocolate milk was buried in ice water, and I reached across another gentleman's clam chowder, and about a quater cup of water came splooshing into his meal. I felt so bad! He just laughed and said that he had kids. The cast member that was right there (she was serving the desserts) gave him another clam chowder bowl.

A couple other times I was embarassed was when this one cast member photographer was taking pictures by the Paradise Pier entrance. Just in the middle of what was probably a perfect shot I just walked right into. The cast member was understanding and gave me the picture ticket instead of the group. :P I also once lost my wallet in DCA and told just about every cast member I met that I had lost it. After about an hour searching at about 40 cast member later I discovered that my wallet was in my back pocket (I rarely put anything there). I just ran across to Disneyland I was so afraid that I'd meet a cast member that I had talked to again!

I once left my cell phone at the information booth before you enter DL. I relised it and went back later but it was all locked up. I called the phone on my dads and i could here it ringing inside the booth. After asking about a dozen cast members to help, and filling out forms at the lost and found, I found out no one would help me! This was the last day of the trip and we where leaving in a few hours. So I made the desision to act pathetic. I started outright sobbing with big alligator tears (thank heaven for acting classes) and before long an elderly cast member took pitty and came to my rescue. he tracked down the set of keys in about 15 minutes and i got my phone!

I would have been p***. It's not like you were guessing that it wasn't in there. You should have asked to talk to the manager or lead.

Oh my god, every time I see a leash on a kid I feel sorry for him. I wonder what the heck the parents were thinking. They never seem to care. That's just over protective. I'll bet those kids grow up and get into bondage or worse.

HAHAHAHAHA. I think it's ok for toddlers on the leashes, But for Kids 3.5 and Older... it's a bit much. Kids that old actually know how to LISTEN and not to wander off.

Those things always make me raise my eyebrow. But I guess you get your kid to walk, instead of having a stroller. A couple of times, I would see double leashes.

I used to wonder where the parents got them, and then one day I saw them in a Disney gift shop. I was really surprised.
