well, I definately have some time before I'd need to pay anything. I'm not going to reserve anything until I'd have enough to cover my half. If you want, I'll send you the info I have so far so you can judge if you'd still be able to go.

IT'S OFFICIAL!!.. I just made the reservations for my trip down in december.
I had yet to make them as I was trying to iron out some details around the house, save up the money, buy the equipment I'll need, etc. But, that's a thing of the past now. the total for 2 for the time we're staying came to around $740.00 with the AAA discounts. Plus, by booking through AAA, I get a "Diamond card" which gives me discounts off dining, entertainment, recreation, merchandise, and tours. knedeau, not sure if you did this or not, but you should've booked through AAA if you belong, based on the tours and such. I know from your site that you're doing the Dolphins in Depth at epcot. you could've saved 15% off the normal price, plus you would've had 15% taken off your room rate.
I am so ready for this trip now...

The guy who was helping me kept offering me the dining plan every other word out of his mouth, even after saying I didn't want it. They have it included with the 15% discount you would've gotten. according to the book I have, staying at the Polynesian, 6 nights/7 days (that's as high as it prices for me) it'd be $1275.85/person for the base ticket plus room and dining package. But, as you said, maybe next year...knedeau wrote:Actually, I did call them, but since I wanted to do the Dining option, they really couldn't help.
Oh well.... Maybe next year (with most the restaurants in epcot OFF the dining plan, what's the use of getting it!)

Re: december trip
I'm curious js3901, how did your trip turn out? I realize it was a long time ago but I'm trolling through old trip reports for fun this lazy Sunday morning. I don't know anyone who has actually camped in WDW! Was it fun? Did you stay warm enough at night? Did Dr. Ravenscroft get to go too?
