My hubby and I just saw it tonight... it was good! The actor who played Superman did a GREAT job - he was perfect in the part.

I saw it Tuesday at a 10pm showing. It's great but the ending is a little long. It's great to see a more emotional side of Superman. Brandon Routh did a superior job as Superman. He's a mirror image in looks as well as acting as Christopher Reeve.

We're just back - the length of the movie didn't bother me but my wife thought it dragged a bit. My kids liked it - it's a fun summer movie and Routh is great in the role.

Loved the movie. Well worth the time and money. Saw it Opening night at the Imax 3-D here in town. If you have the chance to see it at the Imax I would do so. It's only like 20 minutes of 3-D, but it's still very cool.

Saw it Tonight! LOVED IT! (Especially that part where the Dr.s pull down his costume and we get to see those LOVELY pecks!..MMMMMMMMMMMMM) I thought that Kevin Spacey did a good job as LL... and the guy who played superman... yeah... he was ........ ummmm .. NICE to look at! I did think the part with the two dogs becoming one at the beginning was a bit disturbing though....
"Hey, Look at that guy in the Goofy Mask!" "That's not a mask!" "Oh... Sorry Lady!"

I really want to see it. Though I heard it had mixed  reviews :!: I'm sure I can trust all of your positive judgement. I've heard Brandon Routh did an amazing job as the legend. I can't wait!!
Do you think have enough time to go the bathroom before the next show?

I've heard a lot of mixed reviews also, but I really liked it. I thought it was really great how they paid homage to the original films. There were lots of things i saw that were similar to the originals, like the way the credits rolled, or the way he flies off at the very end of the movie. I didn't think it was too long at all, I thought it was done as to not feel like it was rushed (like X3). Out of all the blockbusters to come out this summer, X3, Superman, Pirates 2, I think i liked Superman the best. We'll see if it can be topped by the sleeper of the summer, Snakes on a Plane.
Please keep your arms and legs inside the vehicle until the ride comes to a full and complete stop. Thank you, and enjoy the rest of your day here at Walt Disney World.

I put my whole review on my site but bottom line is I thought it was really good but not great. I thought everyone but Kate Bosworth was fantastic. She was just kind of blah. But Spacey was the best at Luthor. The only thing that bothered me was they didn't do anything new. It wasn't a new take or really even a new story.

Routh did a great job of playing Christopher Reeve playing Clark Kent. In all seriousness the film felt more like a tribute to Reeve than a movie.

Being a girl, Superman wasn't really a prioriety growing up. But I did have a hugs soft spot for Chris Reeve, So I watched the first one with my hubby about 10 years ago.
SO he of course wanted to go to this one. Kevin was the only true drawing factor for me. But I really enjoyed it. It was rather long but Routh's blue eyes and LEX helped the time fly!
Have a magical day!
