Server Issues

Post by subsonic » May Tue 30, 2006 12:25 pm

There has been some issues with the streams over the last few days. First the power went out at my place so the requests and scheduled streams were down. I need to buy a UPS.

Second, Addlema switched servers and now the request 96k stream isn't active.

We're hoping to get this resolved ASAP.

Thank you for your patience.

Last night on the Request feed it kept stopping and then restarting quite a bit (Somewhere between 9:30-10). I switched over to the Scheduled feed and this problem wasn't occuring. Just thought I'd let you know. Now I had been listening for a few hours so maybe that was it, but I didn't think it was normal.

Thanks :jack:

Um, the request one has been skipping as if a CD was scratched since I've been listening today...the scheduled one is fine though...
Playing tag should be permitted on Tom Sawyer's Island so the guards would stop yelling at me.

Which player are you using? I believe you need to associate a .pls file with winamp or windows media player.

I'm using Winamp. I'm having a promble getting a feed. I either get a connecting message the flashes in the winamp screen or a message that says listening without any sound. Can somebody please help. I'm on a dsl connection and am using a 4gig 64bit system with 2gig of cache

Are you connecting from home? Maybe your work blocks certain ports. It's strange winamp is having problems. http://www.shoutcast.com/?s=subsonic's Try the listen links from here.

Thank you for your time. I downloaded the Subsonic player. It works fine and I don't have to bother with Winamp.
Thanks again!
