me either ~ but I looked it up since I'm trying, and mostly failing, to not eat so many treats, and lo and behold it said they are very freezer-able. I popped the remaining ones I had made in there, and have had a few. Yup, taste just as good and no problems.

Columbus Day ~ which not surprisingly, has become yet another protested day due to disagreement over historical events. I wish I could come celebrate Thanksgiving in Canada for the day instead ~ it would be much more peaceful no doubt!

Come on over! There's room at the dinner table! Does Columbus Day count as a national holiday that most people get off? You mentioned no mail, so I'm guessing federal employees are off for sure. We have some like that too, where they're off but most others are still working.

Thanks! It is indeed a federal holiday, but it's mostly just the post office and banks that are closed. Other businesses seem to go on about their normal schedules I think. That might have been different years ago.
