It starts with the Disneyland Hotel Tram... cruises down Main Street... circles the park, having lunch at the Blue Bayou, spending much of the time going back in time, and ends with another trip on the hotel tram...

But you'll have to wait...
Sounds Awesome!!!! In that case I know exactly how I'm celebrating the 50th!!!!! Listening to SubsonicRadio.Com!!!!

:( July 17 is a blockout day. But I'm sure we'll find time this summer for a short visit or two.

Before then, we'll be activating our AP certificates in December. :D

Well I know what I'll be doing and thats... going to Disneyworld since I live down in the Panhandle and am the only one in my immediate family who cant fly for free, I tried throwing sugar on myself and thinking happy thoughts but that just lead me to the psych ward. As to the Disneyland 50th I have to say Matt Ouimet and his team are doing a bang up job especially following the questionable former team. So if you can get their then go and have fun!

I'll be in DL and WDW sometime over the usual 15+ month "yearlong celebration" - with all the new stuff opening up it should be a good time...

i plan on going sometime during the off-seaon .if i have enough money that is. planning trips to any Disney theme park when you live significantly far- is expensive especially when you have an any source of income.

I just realized that July 17 is on a Sunday :( Kinda weak for those of us who would need to fly in to celebrate the anniversary, but need to get back to work on Monday. Is July 17 the ACTUAL anniversary, or did Disneyland just pick a weekend day close to the actual date?

EDIT: A quick google answered my question. It was indeed on July 17...it was actually on a Sunday as well.
