I went out for a few things today ~ mostly because it was supposed to be warm. It is 42 degrees, but overcast and super windy so not warm at all! After hemhawing for a bit, I finally got an electric kettle today ~ hoping it works well

It was warm and rainy here yesterday. Back to cold today, although there does appear to be sun! For the first time in what feels like weeks! Maybe it will last at least a few hours.
Hope the kettle works well for you! I'm the boil water on the stove type, never made the plunge to a kettle

I already decided to take it back. The heating element isn't enclosed so it really can't be cleaned properly in my estimation. Guess I'll stick with my measuring cups in the microwave method. The kettle is supposed to cut the heating time in about half. I only really would need one about 5 months out of the year because I just don't have hot drinks the rest of the year anyhow. Oh well...
